The more restrictions you put on the groups concerning booth space, the more groups will decide it just isn't financially worthwhile to attend NQC. it won't take long until the only groups with booths will be the aforementioned "three-timers." Until the board figures out a better way, the fans will just have to realize that they need to be there by Friday if they want to see the majority of groups, especially the groups not on the main stage.

Also, any group that seems out of place on the main stage (the Pfeifers and Reggie Sandler Family have been mentioned) most likely have one of the board members backing them financially.

So many people cannot get to NQC till the weekend. Groups in droves were hustling Saturday to tear down booths early in the afternoon and evening. People who can only come Saturday miss a lot by these groups leaving so early. NQC should have some sort of sanction on how long group must stay set up on weekend

My suggestion would be to have exhibit hall only open on Saturday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. This would give the Saturday night attenders an opportunity to visit the booths (even if it is a scaled down version of the booth). At 6:00 or a little before, everyone can head over to the awards ceremony. Afterwards, the artists can finish taking down their booths and head out based on the performance schedule.

Decent idea.

Ok...I wasn't going to jump in here but you know me...I just couldn't sit on my hands any longer...

I like the Pfiefers but more so after hearing John's testimony. Don't know why...guess it gave more meaning to their music for me. Anyway...I enjoyed Reggie's wife and daughter singing but I have a hard time understanding him so it does take away for me. Like everyone I have my favorites (obviously) and least favorites but I keep an open heart and mind because you never know who will be the one to touch that one soul who is needing encouragement or salvation. I liked the schedule the way it was. Yes...there were some I would have liked hearing more of and others less of but all in all as stated on here before...they're not going to appease everyone. I'm looking forward to attending next year.

Very true, I wish it wasn't so but many groups are in a hurry to get out to do other dates, on Saturday night a few are trying to get home to be at church the next day. I understand the frustration when you want to see your fav group, but I also understand the business end and doing what you have to do.
