Do you put peanuts in your coke?

I've never had that. Seems utterly disgusting. Should it done with just normal coke? Normal salted peanuts? It may be disgusting but I'd be willing to try it once...

It has been a treat at least since my mother was a teenager in the 50's.

Works best with a coke in a tall glass bottle wth a pry off lid. Drink a good swallow of the coke, then pour in a package of peanus (the size typically in vending machines), a little at a time.

Description HERE

Excellent short video Here.

A friend and I agreed to try it together tomorrow. I'm going do it with dr pepper (my preferred drink). I'll report back on our findings afterwards. lol

I came I saw I drank and ate and blllllleeeccchhhhh.

Fine cuisine is wasted on some people.

I imagine that this is very good. Maple syrup and bacon go well together, especially when both are accompanying french toast or pancakes.

I have a niece who does this.

I thought Hidden Valley Ranch was made for french fries.

well, I gave in and had the fries and frosty the other night.

David came home and asked what I wanted for dinner. I told him that all I could think of was fries and a frosty, because I'd been reading this thread. He said that worked for him, but I should probably get some protein too... so I got the spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and a frosty.

the sad part? There was something funky with my frosty. It was like it was too solid, and it was melting in a weird way... I think their mix was a little off. Ever since then, I've wanted another. =)

I dip my fries in my Frosty. Always have. We ate at Wendy's the other day for lunch and I spotted a guy across the restaurant dipping his, also.

My kids do it, but . Everyone knows you dip the fries in the chili.

Wendy's has those new "hand made" shakes.

They take frosty mix, add syrup, mix on a mixer, and add whipped cream and a cherry.

It costs about twice as much as a frosty.

No word yet on fry dipping quality.

Why would they bother messing with perfection??

*sigh*

I have been known to dip my fries in a chocolate milkshake, I think. Neither from a fast food joint, though.

Why mess with good stuff? The Frosty is just fine on its own. I'm not a fan of dipping the fries in. We used to take potato chips and put them in ice cream. When we were growing up we only had vanilla ice cream (usually NY Vanilla) and Hershey's chocolate syrup. We'd mix the ice cream & chocolate syrup together and then throw the potato chips in. It was pretty good!

I had a handmade shake only once, and it was N-A-S-T-Y!! Like they used some spoiled milk or something.

It's a very popular thing to do here. Most everyone I know goes to Wendy's specifically to get that combination. I still think it's gross.

Here too. My dd wants to go to Wendy's for that reason too. It's gross to me....

Mrs. K loves them.

The secret is to ask for them to make it with chocolate Frosty mix (they normally make it with vanilla), if you are a chocolate lover.
