We're going from 3 services per weekend to 4 this weekend ... so I should be seeing plenty of him.

That is - if he recognizes me I'm losing all but about 10% of the hair I currently have on my head in about 24 hours

Thank y'all for cheering me on - it's so much more fun when I know I have someone to talk to about it (who won't go leak it to him or be constantly winking at me and making me turn bright red).

Try dating with children (if you aren't already). Especially my Things. I can't be in the same room with BB with one of them nudging me or giving me meaningful looks. *sigh*

They have yet to learn the art of sublty. Or if they have they throw it out the window when it comes to me.

I can't imagine dating with children! Of course - I can't even imagine having children.

I did see a little of this first hand when I went to the grocery store with my friend/neighbor though. She mentioned a man being attractive, and her boys started chanting about crushes and boyfriends. Luckily we were in the car with the windows up, he he!

It was terrific :) Good conversation - got to know each other better, but nothing too awkward just yet. The food was great! He showed me some of the area that I hadn't seen yet and wasn't familiar with.

I think the biggest thing was that he prayed before we ate :) :) :) Active prayer life is a BIG one in my book.

After church this morning several of us were puzzling over a computer issue, and I caught him snapping a candid photo of me, tee hee :)

So far so good! Of course - now I have to pray before I go to church that God will keep my focus where it is supposed to be :)

Yes actually! On Saturday I came in and was going over something on the light board, and he walked up while my head was down and said "I like the hair!"

:) I didn't even get time to fret if he'd talk to me or not :)

I think it is too soon to jump to that conclusion - but :)

Seriously though - pray for me to keep my focus on God and be EVER listening to His leading. Always important - but ESPECIALLY now that I'm all twitterpated!

I love reading this. Hee-hee.

As for me, I would love to have a crush and be crushed upon. Whether it was "the one" or not would be completely irrelevant right now. I just could use some attention.

Right now I'm feeling a bit like the good china, sitting in a cabinet, waiting for just the right occasion to be used and it never happens.

That's a great analogy! I'm with you on that, except I don't want to be "used", I want to be valued and respected.
I don't know if that still fits with the analogy. . . can you respect china? Well, you know what I mean.

That's just it - GOD values you!

I know that right now coming from me that probably makes you want to say "Psh, whatever Losgan." But I had to tell myself that in the mirror every morning for a LONG long time before I started believing it. But once it really sunk in, I just can't stop smiling.

And I'll tell you what - a smile WILL attract attention. When my mom asked me what first caught my interest about my interest - my answer was that he is smiling most of the time (and has a great smile - the smiling from within kind).

one of my pastors used the fine china example when elaborating on the meaning of 1 Peter "weaker vessel" ... something rare and delicately crafted ... we respect china in the fact that they are brought out for special occassions and it's valuable ... we don't throw them around like we would paper plates ...

My pastor once used that example with that verse, too. I think we all need to remember that to God, we are like fine china... and if someone comes along who doesn't give us that kind of respect, we can confidently move right along.

Okay, FunBetty you said in the over in the smile tred to come here and tell you all about it so, here it goes! We had our monthly leadership meeting at the house of the youth pastors that I help on Wednesday night and his wife was getting my new email address,(I just started college and had gotten my college email a few days before) and the guy, his nickname is "SingingBoy", asked me if it was okay if he had my email too! And was like,*trying to keep my composure* Sure! So, he has mine now and I have his!! It is so cool because we are both Leaders at our churches youth group and he sings like an angel!! I'm trying just to play it cool though, he's really shy and quiet, so I don't want to scare him off or anything! I've actually known him for like a year, and have thought ever since day one he was awesome, but never thought about him maybe liking me back?!?!? So, we'll just see where this goes...
He is really sweet, cute, and such a gentleman! Did I mention he sings like an angel...

So yay! You've got your "SingingBoy"! lol (for the record a lot of us have codenames for anyone and everyone). Are you going to email him? You *could* send a friendly email to test and be sure you have the correct email address! That's like a very high opportunity for a response!!!!

*Grins* yeah I've got lots of those kind of ideas....

Yeah, I'm thinking of maybe emailing him later tonight, he gets off work in about an hour and always eats supper with his parents after work, so it's a thought rolling around in my mind...
I just have to make myself actually do it, he doesn't make me nervous, it's just I can't believe that this is happening again, I just promised myself a week ago that I wasn't going to fall head over heels for another guy until AFTER college...so much for that one?!?!?
