Good Thur. Morning Everyone

Got Cody's information pact in the mail yesterday. Guess school starts around here Sept. 2nd. Goodness..it's gonna cost me around $200 to send him to a public school. I guess I don't remember spending that much last year. Wonder where my property taxes go to? Always thought that was for the public school and road work. While he was going to our Christian grade school, it cost me $400 a year. They did get a GREAT education there, plus the bonus was learning about God.And I guess I should'ent complain about the public school cost. He gets a great education there also. Then I still own the other half of his behind the wheel class. The classroom class cost me $175..now I owe the other $175 while he is learning to drive. I decided I am in the wrong type of work. I could teach kids how to drive, and earn $250 per kid

I should point out that it was my Katie's birthday yesterday. We just celebrated it Tues. night because Brandi was off work. It was important that Brandi was here to help celebrate. Plus Katie wanted to ask her to be her Matron Of Honor for her wedding. It was a really "loveing moment" when Katie presented Brandi with a tote bag that said "My Matron Of Honor" on it. Brandi looked at Katie, and Katie said "will you" and Brandi said "Yes" They hugged and I think I seen some tears shed. I tryed to camcord the moment, but found out my lens cover was on the camcorded. So I lost the moment. RATS!

Well another crazy day for me today. I have Ethan and Brett again. So that will be five kids again. I'm gonna ask my neighbor to come over and sit while I pick up Cody today. It was terrible yesterday. I had to wake both babies up when I put them into their carseats. Lets just say they were not happy with me. By the time I got up to the high school both babies were screamming. I could'ent do much with them while I waited for Cody. I finally took Brett out of his carseat and held him. Then I shook a baby rattle for Hailey to get her to quiet down. The three toddlers were reading books in their carseats..so they at least were content. I had to wait out in that school parking lot for 15 minutes. It was the longest 15 minutes I spent in a long time
When we got home all the kids went down for naps. Well baby Brett was still mad at me for wakeing him up and I had an awful afternoon with him. And baby Hailey kept wakeing up all afternoon.
Just talked to my neighbor and she said she would come over this afternoon. Thank Goodness For Neighbors

RATS Indeed!

Babies screaming does make 15 minutes seemed like FOREVER! Been there didn't get a T-shirt. I am so happy for you that your neighbor will sit today. Does Cody have practice tomorrow too?

ALL my faculty were at the building today. And I got a big supply order in and a few students came by unannounced. Guess I am getting a foretaste of what it will be like this fall with two programs going.

Good Friday Morning Everyone
Oh I love Fridays

Ginny,
Yes Cody has football practice every morning. He also has practice tomorrow (Sat) for some reason. They are takeing group pictures also.
But school does'ent start until Sept. 2nd

Yesterday turned out to be a good day. My grandsons were in better moods and Brett spend the morning sleeping..and the afternoon smileing at grandma. What a sweety he was. Guess he gave Tommy a hard time when they got home tho. Never can tell with a 3 month old.
Ethan does'ent nap, but he will take a three hour quiet time for me. Only problem is, he tends to be naughty after all the kids wake up from their naps.At three years old, I think he still needs his nap...but with no schedule at his house, there is'ent much I can do when he comes here.. Sigh..

I was suppose to go to a family reunion camping trip this week-end. But Cody has to work and so does my hubby. So I'm gonna have to miss it. My sister always wants the whole family..includeing the kids and their kids..to come to this week-end camp out. Last year it rainned the whole time, and everyone left a day early. I can never get my kids to come along anyways. They don't want to drag their babies out camping. I have to admit I always enjoyed myself when we went. Hubby suggested we go to the county fair on Sat. insted. After he's done working. Even said Tommy wants to take Ethan to the tractor pull Sat. afternoon. So I guess that's what we will be doing.

Tonight we are takeing Cody school shopping. He needs jeans and a few shirts. Could use some socks also.

Barb,
My grandson who just turned 5 takes naps. Perhaps Ethan's quiet times make him restless because he's been quiet but hasn't slept and that's why he gets naughty when they are over. Bummer you are missing the family camping time. I can't blame the kids with babies though. I hated camping with babies.

Yes it is quiet. I wonder what everyone is doing.

Dee...how are you? Are you going garage saleing tomorrow? I would like to. I got paid today but hubby spent $500 on tires yesterday. He had a flat tire and the other tires were thread bare too so he replaced them all. This is the van that is used to travel to all the games my son plays in. Hubby said he sure didn't want a blow out while he's away from home.

Linda...how did you sleep? Were you able to get a better rest last night?

Maggie...what are you up too?

Hi all!

School starts here Tuesday; it cost me $95 to enroll my high schooler.

Ginny, I printed out the garage sales from the online paper. Looking at the list I guess I should have gone today; some of the ones for this afternoon looked good. There's only 3 listed that start tomorrow morning. So I may stay home unless I wake up early enough and feel like going then.

My son got braces yesterday and we scheduled an appointment with the jaw surgeon for my daughter yesterday.

We have new next door neighbors, hubby helped them a little last night and tonight. They have a daughter R's age (4). That may be interesting. Hopefully fun.

Hi Barb, Ginny & Dee . . . yeah, this thread was rather quiet today. I've been gone all day. I've posted about my day in my thread which includes a prayer request. Would appreciate it if you guys would read there and say a prayer about the matter if you have time.

Barb, I sure needed you here today -- well tomorrow would do! . . . I started cleaning out a file cabinet that I'd basically been using for storage, and boy did I create a mess! I finally went after some storage containers, and am starting to get it sorted and organized, but sheesh, did I ever mess up my house. I'm going to be moving my chaise lounge out of the living room tomorrow, into my 'sitting room' to give us more space out here, and create a 'reading place' for me when I feel like I need to get away from Bill's noisy westerns and the computer. Mostly I'll be using it during the afternoon when Garrett is in school since he won't let me read when he's here. But tomorrow is going to be spent cleaning up my mess before I can do any moving.

Yes, Ginny, I actually did sleep better last night. Hope I can tonight, but I'm a bit riled over Garrett, so we'll see.

Dee, our kids started to school this week. I'm glad I don't have the expense of getting another one in school right now. That sounds good about the new neighbors -- will give your little one a playmate.

I picked up my friend from the train station today, but she's spending the night with another friend, then will join us tomorrow -- or we'll join them then she will come home with me.

I'm off to bed . .

Good Sat. Morning Everyone

Well I took Cody school shopping last night. Walked out of Walmart spending $200 He got five t-shirts, two pairs of jeans, socks, and a belt. I got some vitimins, bird food, some sewing stuff, and a new bedspread for my bed. (That was on sale for $25) Goodness that wasa expensive shopping trip. In two weeks we will bring him back to get some more jeans and his school supplies. I asked him to pay that second half of the $175, for his driveing lessons. And I will pay for his registration fee's. He did'ent seem to mind.
Then when we got home I got a call from my sister-in-law. They were going out to have pizza, and invited me to come along. My husband was already with them so I went down there. Turns out Tommy and Ethan were along also. So I got to spend some time talking to everyone, and playing with Ethan. My husband and Tommy have been working down by the farm building. Now that they don't milk cows, and have sold off all the stuff..they are getting the barn ready for boat storage this winter. My guys are the ones getting it all cleanned out and ready.
That's where they are again today. And Cody is at football practice again. So here I sit........ I do have to drop off some stuff at the second hand store this morning tho. Mabey I'll take a look around the store after I drop the stuff off.
But this afternoon we get to go to the County Fair. That should be fun. I love looking at all the stuff.

I hope I have some stuff around that will fit my son for school. We were in town this week shopping, but I hadn't had him check his shoes. He's been wearing his slip on sandals pretty much all summer. He'll wear shorts for a while until it cools off more so I still have time to make sure he has jeans.

No garage sale-ing this morning.
