I know this sounds awful, but I think somebody will try to kill Casey Anthony. There is so much rage and frustration directed at her- as well it should be- and the fact she keeps getting out of jail has got to get on somebody's last nerve. I hope the homeowner's Assocation bans Casey from their development. The parents could have some peace and their home back, at least. Or they could move away with her. This woman should never be allowed to have another child. Sterilize her. That way if she manages to beat the system and either never gets charged for Caylee's murder or she gets acquitted in court, she will never be able to harm another child.

ORIGINAL: Sophie11 I listened to one of the 911 calls made by the grandmother of Caylee yesterday. The grandmother of Caylee was calling to report Casey for stealing her vehicle and some money. The grandmother was on hold waiting to be patched through to another police agency and you could overhear a brief conversation she was having with Casey. She said something about a child service to get a court order to let her see her, I imagine she was speaking of Caylee. Casey says something ineligible and the grandmother replies that she's "not giving you another day, it's been a month already". I think as far as I understand Casey was not in contact or did not see her mother for a month. Two hours after that initial call was when she called back to 911 to tell them her daughter just informed her her granddaughter had been missing for a month and that she had found her car but it smelled like a dead body. Casey maybe led her to the vehicle to avoid having her mother press charges for theft? I don't know. Anyway, I do not think the grandmother was in on the disappearance of Caylee. Listen to the 911 tapes. I haven't had a chance to hear the 911 tapes, but from what you heard it sounds like she (Cindy) was just annoyed in the beginning but then got panicky after she couldn't get Casey to tell her where the baby was. So, she called the police back and told them about the smell in the car. My guess would be the grandmother's first (fleeting) thought was that Casey killed her daughter. (Once she smelled the inside of the car.) But, she couldn't deal with that--so she started helping Casey cover the situation up. Maybe the grandmother wasn't in on the disappearance, but she could wake up out of denial and put more pressure on her daughter to tell the truth. (Although, from what I've read her daughter's a practiced liar, so getting the truth isn't gonna be easy.) P.S. Is there a web site where you can hear the 911 tapes?

Oh gosh you have GOT to hear this jail call between Casey and her mom. Casey is not only a liar, but shes a horrible one at that. She actually talks on this tape and makes up this whole story to make herself look like a victim instead of Caylee being the victim instead. Its 10 minutes long. She incriminates herself soooo many times in this call its sickening. Just bear in mind that since this phone call shes totally changed her story about how Caylee went missing. Shes gone from what she says in this, to telling a security guard that that woman and her was at a park and Caylee got into the womans car and the woman gave her a transcript of what to say to police...shes nuts. Then she talks to someone named Christina. Have nooo clue who that is. Shes sooo hateful to her mom as well. Her mom is way too easy on her, but you can tell she dosent believe a word Casey is saying. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=jjD2RJW8gyw And heres what i could find on the 911 tapes... http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=YIrPJ77IoRc http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=fZpxY1bXubo And listen to this one! She is totally lying and changing her story AGAIN. In this one she says that she got off work at Universal and went to pick up Caylee and thats the day she was missing...okay yeah. If thats true then Caylee has been missing for almost a year cause thats how long ago she worked at Universal. This woman either sold her daughter or killed her. Either way Caylee is never ever coming back home again. Casey needs to be thrown in jail and the keys need to be thrown away too. It just makes me sooo mad to think of all the couples out there that wouldve happily taken this little girl in - or even her own parents - and she instead decides to kill her. It makes me sick. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=pjJh6r-yWyw

P.S. Is there a web site where you can hear the 911 tapes? I think all the Orlando tv stations have them. Try WKMG, WESH or WFTV. The Orlando Sentinel may have them. I know they have pdfs of the discovery files.

She's beginning to sound like Diane Downs to me--that woman in Oregon who shot her kids and STILL said some "bushy haired stranger" did it even after one of her kids survived and testified against her in court. All she did was tell one lie after another.

The grandmother is most definitely in denial, and she is really doing nothing more than making it even harder for herself though. I do still feel for her, what a horrible situation. quote:

http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=8f5d7098-25ed-4909-91d5-b99951ad5827 ORANGE COUNTY, FL -- Emotions reached the boiling point early Thursday morning when protesters grabbed George Anthony outside of his home. He fought back by dousing the group with a garden hose. ---------------- I cant say i blame George and Cindy Anthony for doing this. That would be SO annoying to have random people outside your house every single day and night. I mean here they are - in denial - trying to wrestle in their minds that they have a daughter that had everything to do with the murder of their granddaughter. They dont need to deal with that as well, in my opinion. The lady that Cindy got mad at the other night...did you all see her son? He got his arm hurt by the car door and she just left him on the road crying while she lashed out insults at Cindy! Talk about a bad mother! Sometimes i think you need to look at urselves before you look at others in certain cases.

Thanks for the links/replies Thessa and Sophie. I listened to the links from Youtube that you posted yesterday. You can hear Casey thinking ahead so she can explain everything away. I was amazed that she would tell such obvious lies--that she had to know would be revealed soon. It's like if she can think of a good story, then this whole situation will just "go away". (Maybe it already has in her mind.) I also noticed that she said her mom would "never forgive her" for what she's done. That sounds like a partial admission. Maybe if Cindy put an olive branch out--like she would forgive Casey if she'd just confess--then she would. But, maybe not...cuz she sounds like she has a hard-core criminal mind already. She seems so young to be so callous.

Your comment about her being young and hardcore confuses me also. She is barely out of her teens, but, it seems like something that a much older devient mind would do, even the stealing from friends and fraud. Twenty-two she should be a senior in college, being a typical young person. I wonder what makes her so abnormaly evil at the young age she is. quote:

I hold no ill will against George or Cindy Anthony for this, but i think they are treating her almost TOO nice at this point. And did ya all see Nancy Grace last night? Casey called the police telling them they needed to hurry and get officers down to their house to handle protestors...Nancy Grace made a GOOD point after that was heard. She said that its funny how Casey can call the police because of protestors but cant seem to call them because of her missing daughter. And, getting back on the subject of those tapes,...they played a clip on Nancy Grace last night and she laughed. I mean here she is in a room with officers talking about her missing daughter and the cop said something about the chairs not being comfortable and she laughed. Obviously the cop was just saying that to see how easily she has NO HEART at all, and it worked like a charm.
