ORIGINAL: Covaan_Meshuga To the Protos: If you are going to do this, you have to do it faithfully. No excuses. No "I'm too sick" or "I'm too tired." If you slack off, it will not be good. Your children will learn what you think of G-d and how important He is by what you do and by what you don't do. Very true. Hopefully we'll be shown a good church, and if not, given the strength to worship by ourselves.

Bless you, Protos. May G-d so greatly bless you. I learned much from my own mother about how to be a difficult mother-in-law. Then I got married and had wonderful in-laws who are still with us. When my first husband died and I remarried, I was so fortunate to get another set of great parents-in-law. I learned much from these. I am a mother-in-law. I love my children-in-law. Sometimes, I worry that I have teased my son-in-law often by saying to him, "I am your mother-in-law; I could make your life miserable." I say it with a laugh, and I always believed he knew I was teasing as he laughs back, but maybe I should not say that. I have no intentions whatsoever of ever doing anything to hurt any of them. Maybe that isn't funny.
