thomas2008 -> December 2012 (8/3/2008 3:50:08 PM)

I've heard some talk lately that people are looking to 2012 as being the day that the world will come to and end. Now, I have heard of some Bible believing Christians supporting the same thought. According to my Bible, it says that no man knows the day or the hour when Christ returns. So how can pastors preach an endorsement this subject?

Any preacher who agrees with 'date setting' is not only abusing scripture but is claiming to know more than our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God who said 'NO MAN knows the hour."

Kay Arthur is prophecying a great famine, as though she is the first person to ever consider such a thing.

1 out of every 6 persons in the world suffers from LONG TERM HUNGER.

1,000,000,000+ suffer from SEVERE MALNUTRITION.

Matthew 24:3 - "And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows."
