My "mommy" heart hurts. I just said good-bye to DS2, leaving for college in Chicago--and I know from letting two babies go in the past that things will always be different now. And DS3 begins his first day of college classes in a couple of hours too. I know it's concurrent enrollment and he's still just a senior, but it's college and he's my baby.

So quick-----y'all make me laugh.

You could have another baby and start over.

Okay, that worked.

Hmmm.....if I did that, I don't think the whole carseat thing would work with the vintage Jag I'm considering.

The salesman kept saying "some people are afraid of the v12"....why would I be afraid of a V12?

Maybe he meant others would be afraid of you in your V12?

Kerr I have a question for you. Why is it that I am tired when I get up in the morning, but am never sleepy when it is time to go to bed at night?

ACK! I can't keep up anymore.

I love all the boat names y'all came up with. Very fun. I finally came up with one: Salutation.

Kerrlaw, looks like your old hairy roommate in college was actually just a sasquatch costume.

Re the family: I know a couple that married in their teens and had 3 children in 5 or 6 years. As those kids were entering college, the couple adopted 3 under the age of 2. The husband called it their second litter.

About the car, you must like to go fast.

Yes, I know, and what I meant to do was agree. And since the subject was avatars, I was adding that the Dutchess was beautiful.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. Online communication can be so weird sometimes.

I was going to ask what they found out. I must say I'm a bit disappointed.

How old is the Dutchess? Do you have a fenced yard so she can run? Buffy never leaves the tree line ever since Larry chased her down the road with the 15 passenger van. She thought she had to go round up the neighbor's cows.

Dutches is 16 months old and yes we have a privacy fence around the back yard. But this spoiled mut will not go out there unless Mrs. Qtman or I go with her. I had a hard time getting her to stand still for that photo. The look on her face is what the heck or you doing. I had the camera ready and called her name and she was trying to figure out the silver thing in front of my face.

Sam - My Audrey is the same way - which is highly annoying when its 10 degrees out and it takes her 30 minutes to find the perfect spot to "do her business".

I did find something that keeps her outside alone for a few minutes at least. Find yourself a family of mice to move into your backyard area and run around...

Has she finally recovered from your house guest last December????

Oh yes, for the house guest, I'm just kidding. You know she does read these posts every once in a while.

That is too funny! Buffy will go out but she loves it when I go out with her. She won't have anything to do with Larry though, he says its cuz he took her to the vet. When I say Daddy's home she does run to the door to go out and greet him, she just runs away when he says lets go for a walk.

I love dogs. they are so silly.

I just about have her back to normal. Maybe another month or two.

Kath this dog has made up her mind about who is supposed to do certain jobs. Mrs. Qtman can take her out to wee wee but that is all she will do. Unless the pressure just gets to be more than she can stand she will wait for me to take her out for the other. Mrs. Qtman can take her out at 4:45 and she will not go potty. I can take her out five minutes later and that is the first thing she does. You are right. Dogs are silly.

My SECOND grandbaby is due (they think) in April, 2009. She hasn't even been to the MD yet.... they wanted me to be the first to know! Isn't that sweet???

Well actually you would be at least the second to know. Probably the third.

But it was sweet.
