I don't know if we have a Nine West outlet store, but I can always find that brand at Ross or Marshall's. I have several pairs of Nine West shoes as well... they are super comfy even for heals.

How sad! Ours just opened about a year ago. I get more caught up in the shoes there than the purses, though.

Like Ryanne said, Ross carries a ton of Nine West...that's where I've bought most of mine.

My feet sweat uncontrollably, so I can't wear their shoes- I have to have a suede/cloth insole. I wish I could find flat suede/cloth insoles so I didn't feel like I was walking on ice. It sure would expand my footwear choices...

All that to say, I'm much more tempted by Nine West's purses than shoes.

I found spray deodorant on the feet does wonders! Even when wearing insoles without cloth or leather.

Under $50... I'm TJMaxx girl when it comes to purses. The only purses I every pay "full price" for are Liz Claiborne, which I normally get when I have a coupon to the outlet store or they are on sale.

I have bought purses from TJ Maxx and Ross. I've bought Nine West purses there for under $20. One of my favorites was an adorable leather Espirit purse I got for around $15.

Ummm, the most was probably $12. I like cute purses, but I change maybe once a year. It's not something I care about, so for me it's not something worth spending a lot on.

$10-15, unless you count my old messenger bag. I think I paid $20-30 for that.

The most expensive "purse" I ever owned is the one I use now, and it was not made to be a purse. It is a red leather 7-ring Day Planner I bought at Office Depot. It makes a wonderful purse for my purposes, for general use as well as for work and services.

I am not a purse person, and the only reason I carry one at all is because I quit carrying a (large) wallet only about two years ago.

My present one is wearing out. I really resent having to buy a new one.

I have a small simple leather purse that I paid $15 for. I wanted something professional looking, less like I was going hiking or to highschool. The most I paid was for a bag made from laminated Peanuts comic strips. It was at the beginning of the fad (this crafter may have sparked it, in fact). I loved it because it was sooooooo me. Forget what I paid for it but it was more than this frugal person would normally pay for a bag.

I used to have a fossil wallet that I bought for $3 in a thrift store. It was a very nice wallet.

nothing over 30 I would say but one time for graduation I got a gift card for a nine west store I think so I got a 50 dollar purse for 15 or so if I have a purse that cost over 20 then It was more likely some gift lol (more then likely from my sister who likes coach purses and such)

My most expensive purse is the one I'm using right now ... and it was $15 a few years ago. I have since spent $5 getting the straps repaired (kids decided to see if the kitchen shears could cut through leather ... answer, yes ... this experiment got them a long stint in their rooms!) But I *love* this purse ... small enough to not have the bulky look, large enough to still hold my stuff plus a diaper and small wipes container.

$80.00 for an Aigner. I am willing to pay more to get lots of compartments, and a bag that will stand the test of time. I have had it 11 years, and still going strong. I dab a little shoe polish on the two worn spots on the bottom.

I have a used Dooney&Bourke I got on ebay for $9.00. It was old, but a classic.

A hundred something. It a Dooney and Bourke. I also have a nice Ferragamo purse that I only use for nice occassions. That I got as a gift.

I'm a purse freak.

All but one of my purses is a hand-me-down, and I paid $20 (50% off) for a bubblegum pink Pelle Studio at a Wilson's Leather outlet store.

How do you clean leather, BTW? I want to clean it, but I never had anything leather before, so I'm not sure how.

My most expensive purse is a Coach that I bought about 10 years ago for about 300.00. I still use it and it looks like the day I bought it. With Coach purses, one can take their purse into any Coach store and get its hardware, straps, etc. replaced (usually complimentary) if needed for the life of the product. They always clean and polish it as well. It is a worthwhile investment.

That's right...I forgot about Wilson's. They do have nice leather purses. They also sell leather cleaner there.

I have to say that I only buy the more expensive Coach bags for day-to-day wear. I just like how well they hold their shape and quality. If I want something trendy for a certain outfit...$20-30 tops. Target has cute ones.

I've never paid over $20 and would never pay over $50. I'd only pay that much for one I really, REALLY loved, and probably only super high quality handmade at that. I'm not into designer stuff. I just don't get it. I've never had a purse that didn't last me years either, even though they've all been cheap. I only have to replace it when I'm bored with it.

I usually pay between $5.00 and $30.00. My current favourite purse is an oversized red one I always get compliments on - it cost me $20.00! :)

I didn't know that! My MIL bought a Coach purse for me for my last birthday. Definitely the most expensive purse I've ever owned, but now that I know about this replacement parts policy, it makes the price seem a little more reasonable.

My DH has carried an expensive Dooney and Bourke men's wallet since he was fifteen. He's now 27. So, sometimes you get more than what you paid for!

I don't know -- probably because I was brought up dirt-poor and never got used to having a little more -- but I just can't imagine paying more than $45 for a purse for myself.

Now, admittedly, I enjoy looking at someone else's purse, if I note that it is special, but I just could not spend that on a purse for myself -- especially since such purses are often HUGE, and I like small purses -- tiny as I can get them.

My most expensive purse was $65.00 I got it through LLBean it's a special back bag. I have a bad back & this purse helps. It's not real attractive but it's not that ugly either, & it has lots of pockets with 2 key fobs I love it.

mine was $20, a handmade one from Stacy. Otherwise, $5-10 is the range I stay in. I could care less about brand, it just needs to be cute and functional. I change purses every few weeks.

I was brought up dirt-poor too, but I remember my dad getting my mom a Dooney purse when I was really little. She could get it cleaned/repaired for free and with 7 kids, I think that probably made the purse well worth the money She probably carried it for 15 years and the cost might have been comparable to buying a new, cheap one every year or so when one of us kids spilled paint on it or something.

The same thing for watches... I buy a $10 watch at WalMart every year and replace it when the battery runs out. My mom has one really nice watch that she's had for 20+ years. In our lifetimes, she's probably the one who will end up with the better deal, long term.
