For me it's more of a "when it feels like it's under -10 degrees."

My preferred exercise is walking. I do a quick m,ile and a half eveyr day for lunch and then hiking through the parks and zoos etc whenever I can.

I also have a bowflex machine in my room that I try to use. (Slacked off for a while but got a workout in last night and it felt great!)

I went to the gym last Thursday and changed the weights to 30 lbs. on a michine, did a set then moved to the next machine. This guy gets on and did not pay attention to the weight and when I saw him almost crack his knuckles I could not help but LOL! He was expecting it to be 140 lbs. I was relieved that he did not get postal on me. Whew!

Are you admitting that you lift weights like a girl?

For now, I lift like a girl. I am working on increasing the weights. How many can you lift?

Tuesday I had to teach 5 classes!!! 2 body sculpt/core (weights and aerobics) and 3 spinning. (That was crazy!) Wednesday no one came for the two I teach in the early am ... vacation (this particular club I teach at will have only 2 to 5 participants in a class). So I only worked out for a half hour ... a much needed break!!!

I exercise on a fairly normal basis. My schedule just changed at work, so it is a little difficult to be doing something every day, but I feel lost without exercising every day. I recently started running again, probably I would say within the last month or two. I also love martial arts and lifting weights. Exercise isn't a necessary evil for me, it def. is a way of life. It makes me feel good, and helps keep stress under control. I'm a teacher of very young children, so I need all the help with stress I can get!

1.Do you have a regular exercise regimen? 2. What do you prefer to do for exercise? 3. Is exercise a way of life or necessary evil? 4. How important is it that any prospective mate share your level of fitness?

1. Everytime I start a regular exercise regimen - something happens to knock it off track. Right now my previous exercise time is taken up with exercises to alleviate back pain. I'm trying to work my regular exercises back into the schedule, but I have to be careful with the exercises that I select so that they don't make my back any worse.

2.I had finally settled on a routine of 6 minute stretching exercises. Other than these my main choice of exercise is walking. All I need is a comfortable pair of sneakers, to cushion my steps and therefore ease the pressure on my spine.

3. Exercise should be a way of life after all it can only be beneficial to us all, even slim individuals need to exercise. As I said I'm trying to work it back into my schedule.

4. I had never really thought about my mate sharing my exercises with me, but I think that would be really cool. Then he could join me, and one who would join in rather than one who complains is definitely more desirable, the companionship would be great too.

As of the last month - yes! I run at 5am. Yes, 5am. I LOVE it! It's necessary as well - but I just love being up and awake when everyone else seems to be asleep. It is quiet and I feel like it's just me and God ... (and the occasional wildlife - so far I've seen a deer, coyote, and jack-rabbits, and heard two Great Horned owls).

I'm not sure if I'd want to share my morning run - but it is important to me that he be doing something to ensure his health and maintain a relatively active lifestyle.
