Wel, a deletion is the removal of genetic information, a an insertion the placing of information into a genome, a duplication is the duplication of the same and an erv is the introduction of genetic information from a virus.

So these are changes in genetic information, correct?

I could change the ordinary function of an enzyme.

If it isn't the ordinary function then it would be a new function, would it not?

Yes, they are various unique changes to the genome. Just like a car wreck and a car repair are changes to an automobile.

It could be a disfunction.

Does car repair and car wreck produce changes in the offspring of cars?

It could be a disfunction.

Then disfunction could be a beneficial function that is different from the original function, right?
