May I suggest it would be helpful to know how far along you are. Do you have some or all of the members? Do you have fully written songs or song ideas? How much access to equipment (instruments, mics, amps, recording tech, studio etc.) do you have?
Also, will the band focus on creating music, on ministry, on evangelism or a combo of those? If its a ministry then some may have advice on spiritual growth (which we all need) and whether to or how to be connected to a church.
IMHO the more detail you can provide in answering these questions will be helpful when people who know how to start a band read youyr post. That will lead to more quality and quantity in the advice you get. [:D]
