That picture reminds me of the old toilet paper commercial where the little girl stuffed her pants with TP when she was learning how to ice skate.

Gotta love the j-lo badonker, lol. It's even worse when we use cloth diapers, then she *really* needs the 2T. HERE is a picture of her in her "capris".

Oh my. You weren't kidding. She's a cutie.

I need to take a good pic of Nathan's milk-belly. It's something else when you get the right angle. They'd make good bookends!

And because so many of Nathan's playmates are little girls I'm already getting "boyfriend" comments about him, like he's so and so's boyfriend. I hate that kinda stuff, but I don't want to act whitchy around them... Not a cross I want to die on (especially not now, I've had all the dying I can take lately).

Hi just quickly popping in, I might not be able to see this again before the doc appointment unless I can sneak on using hubby's mobile phone, I can't see this page on mine, but I can see facebook (thanks Yolanda!).

His poo isn't mucousy. So I was saying to yolanda that is one of the first things they ask about dairy, but they may dismiss dairy as his poo isnt mucousy. Yes he was still eating beef when we were off dairy.
Sarah- you said corn syrup is usually a rash etc. He doesn't have any rashes or wheezing etc.
I am going to PUSH my doc til he gives me that referral, I think though because he knows me and he knows its been going on for so long that he will give it to me and I will push for the Gastro specialist more so. A woman on the Australian site I posted on said she went private and paid the private fee to get in earlier (6 weeks she waited) as the public had a longer wait.
I was also reading on the breastfeeding site that sometimes its the lactose that can upset a baby and how they will want to keep eating to soothe the belly and make the wind come out quicker, which I find it was happens, especially early in the morning, around 5am-7am is his worst time where he is constantly waking and then explodes in his nappy.

Thanks everyone for your support and advice, you will never know how much it has meant to me!!

Janine how is Jadon doing? how are YOU doing?

Kim how is little Gwen going?

oh i forgot, should I put him back on losec? if it is an allergy, then it will be not good for his belly and won't the losec help protect it a bit? I have no idea about the human anatomy and what does what. But he has been worse since off it, since monday. I will ask my doc too.

Why did you take him off it, Nicole? If it's a prescription, I would say keep him on it - it's for his reflux, right?

Gwen's actually having a not-so-good day. We've had almost a week of very little fussiness and nice, yellow poops and tonight heaven forbid we enjoy a nice dinner out with DH's family! She got sooooo upset, and I had to take her out of the restaurant and feed her on the cement steps at the back, when she had a HUGE POO and it was green again. Yarg. Yesterday I ate toast with nutella and a glass of milk, a sandwich, yogurt, 2 cookies, and our dinner was salmon with rice and veggies (carrot, zucchini, and red pepper). We did have ice cream for a treat later. I'm wondering if maybe too much dairy upsets her? I don't know. I guess we'll see - I stopped keeping track because she was so great, but maybe I'll start tracking again and just keep an ongoing journal.

ETA: Ryanne, Gabby is sooooo cute!

Good luck at the GP, Nicole. I hope you come out of there getting what you want.

Ryanne, Gabby is too cute! Love her little badonkadonk. Haha @ capris. I think little girl pants might be tighter in the thighs and butt, have you ever bought boy pants for her? Target has pants that have adjustable waists, so you can get some in a larger size for her big booty and then tighten the waist.

Yeah, the ON ones are adjustable too. I can actually only buy her certain "cuts" or styles because some of them are just to slim through the thighs. She can't wear skinny jeans at all

LOL at Gabby, she's a cutie!

Kim- the Paed said to stop the Losec, but who knows why I even listened to him. I will get the doc to look at his dose today.Sorry that you had a rough time with Gwen, keep that diary going! I wish I went longer with the dairy one, or actually kept a diary as I can't remember now what was happening when I was off dairy.

I have read that some mothers have said that the skin **** test is pointless if the allergy is gut related, so I guess the gastro doctor or allergist will discuss that more with me when I go (yes, WHEN I go, won't leave my doc without it LOL)

I got the referral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL I just realised that I wrote a naughty word in the post above. Woopsy!

The doc was like, well he seems fine blah blah blah. I told him that's easy for him to say, he aint the one holding a screaming baby for an hour at a time sometimes hourly through the night. He agreed there is something not right and is going to help investiage. He wasn't going to give me the referral, he was just going to do some blood test and some breath test thingo, but I pushed!I said "well can't we do these tests, but I book in incase these tests show up nothing?" He said "good idea!" (Yes I know, I am full of good ideas ) So yeah, finalyl I feel like I am being taken seriously! I have to go back on wheat etc for a week he said and then get the tests done (I had to remind him that I need to go back on that for it to show up, I think he was impressed with how much I knew, thanks to you lovely girls).
So thanks everyone for supporting me and loving me and listening to my stories. I appreciate it!!

So I just got off the phone with the children's hospital in the city. No appointments are free until Dec!!!!! Man alive! Going private isn't any better either and she told me the one doctor who travels was just recently in my town! If my stupid Paed had listened the first time. GRRRR

Ryanne, she is C.U.T.E!!! And she looks like you in the second photo!

Nicole, I'm glad you stood your ground, and glad you got the referral.
Sorry they don't have anything sooner!! Is there anywhere else you could go? Even if you had to travel, wouldn't it be worth it? Are there any other cities around?

Nicole- I responded in the sahm thread...

Ryanne- I knew she had a big behind, but I was not picturing that picture! Perhaps she's going to be a physical girl and God knew that tailbone needed padding! We should get our girls together- neither of mine have a behind, so their pants always fall down. She is a cutie though! Do you have a hard time getting her in a car seat?

Okay, funny coming... Yesterday, we were cleaning up Eleni's room and had to put MANY puzzles back together including and alphabet puzzle. Anna kept picking up a piece, saying the letter and saying "Where (letter name) go?) and we would point to the hole. (Mind you, I am on the phone with my mom) Eleni says, "mama, where's the A Hole?" So of course, I respond, "The A hole is right there in the corner." Ummm.....yeah.... My mother asks what on earth I am talking about, I start laughing, and think to myself that alphabet puzzles should only be done when no one can hear you!

I cut Jadon's hair last night. He had lost everything but the very top. It's growing back in so I cut the top part. Now I am on a the hunt for a keepsake box for his first hair. I think I found a set I like that has a first tooth/first curl that I can engrave with his name silver set for 18.95. THIS one.

You already cut his hair

I couldn't bring myself to do that until oh, 2 weeks ago I didn't really keep any of Gabby's hair, since all my dad really cut was her bangs. Everything else will go in pockets in a scrapbook.

Nope, her car seat is so huge it actually swallows her up, lol.

LOL @ puzzles

I cried the first (and only time) I cut Akeelah's hair. She was well over a year, and two spots on her head were growing faster than the rest of it. But they were in the perfect spot for two little ponytails. So I just snipped off the ponytails (which were her signature style).

But since I did that, her hair has grown in wonderfully and she has a beautiful little afro now. But man, the number of times I tried to cut her hair and couldn't bring myself to do it.

eta....at least I won't have to cut it for a very long time!!!! (if ever again!)

Levi's hair is all shaggy and going down over his ears but I cannot bring myself to cut it!!

Oh, Gabby is just adorable! You're right, Ryanne that is a big rear! lol it's cute.

Do other people have bad experiences staying in a hotel with a baby or is it just me?? The first time, when Levi was 4 months, I asked for a crib and got one. BUT, they had bolted the side so it couldn't be lowered, and the mattress was at the lowest setting. There was no possible way I could reach to get Levi in and out of the crib. Luckily my mom was with me that time, but even she could *barely* reach and she's 5'3. There was also no sheets on the crib, and when I asked for CRIB sheets they gave me a queen size sheet. That was at Days Inn.
This last time, we asked for a crib and they said they only had 4 and they were all being used. So, we had to put Levi on the floor. Not a big deal, just annoying and I hadn't brought along any blankets or anything.

We always take our port-a-crib when staying in a hotel. It was loads of fun the one time all five of us were in one room and both babes need a port-a-crib. There was NO room to walk around in there! Luckily, we were only there for one night.

Ugh, Chase needs a haircut so so bad, he has so much hair. Hubby says we can't cut it until his 1st birthday, because we have to have a picture of how much hair he has on his 1st birthday.

I also don't know how we'll get him to sit for a haircut, I can't see it happening...

I'm thinking 1st b-day too. And we're going to have the same problem I'm sure. He doesn't like to sit still, plus he HATES being messed with. And clippers will definitely be out since he's scared of noises like the blender, vacuum etc.

A porta crib would be a nice idea for staying in hotels if we had one. We never saw a big need for spending the money on one.
