Our other thread is reaching the maximum point. We had many prayer request in that thread and the need to continue a prayer request thread is evident.
Remember to pray for the request that our friends place in this thread.

Yes, by all means let us all be diligent to Pray, even when we don't necessarily post that we are doing so.
We know Prayer is the best thing we can offer to anyone.

My two-year old grandson's right eye has become more prominently crossed in the last couple of months. My daughter took him to the doctor who told her that it isn"t lazy eye, but will have to be corrected surgically. It will be at least six weeks until she can get an appointment with a specialist at Vanderbilt. I would like to ask for prayer for my daughter, who as a first time mother, is very emotional right now. The waiting is going to be tough on her.

Frog, praying for both child and mom!

Please remember me in prayer. This evening my foot (the one that I messed up when I fell down the stairs and retwisted both at GC homecoming and at Bryson City) has had me in a LOT of pain. This past week has been good, I've done my exercises, used my brace when I was supposed to and had it off when I was supposed to. No problems but about 2 hours ago, I started having major pain and nothing is giving any relief. I guess I'm just a wimp and don't handle pain the way I used to but this has had me in tears.

I have a request. I just had to put my car in the shop because of transmission trouble. Please say a prayer that it won't cost me too much -- most car repairs tend to be outrageous.

And please say a prayer for me as well. I am in constant pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have basically ignored it for years, but its gotten to the point where I don't know if I can continue working.

Praying for these requests! Having spent the last few hours in pain that I'm sure is much more minor that what you are suffering, I will remember you in prayer daily.

This may seem small and in the grand scheme of the world it is but I'm working with Alicia, the bank, doctors and other creditors trying to untangle the mess her finances have become. I won't go into details but the young lady who paid cash for her car and had $$ in savings and checking is now in the red every way you turn.

One way we are working to pay some of the bills is selling items on ebay, please pray that this sell to help her pay bills. Also we are having a Huge yard sale 8/9, selling furniture, baby items, etc. If you would pray that my foot/ankle hold out as we get these things prepared and that we sell this stuff. It would make a big dent in her situation if we are able to. I have a sum in mind that I'm asking God to help us reach or exceed. Please agree with us in prayer on that number.

Thank you all again for your love and faithfulness to pray for all the requests on the boards. I'm so thankful that we have a 'family' here that truly loves and wraps its arms around us.

Dad will be moved to a NH sometime this week. Please keep him and my mother in your prayers. The adjustment is very hard on both of them, and is challenging for all of us to deal with.

I need prayers for patience. There is a situation that I am involved in that seems to me to be moving way too slowly. My closest friends keep telling me to be patient because things are going to change but I am quickly running out of patience with it. Because my patience is wearing thin, I came within an instant of doing something really stupid today.

PrincessDonna's husband was in a car accident on Sunday, and will be in the hospital for at least a week.

Here is a post from a thread in the Women Only section:

Brian has broken bones in his left arm and leg...compound fractures (bone came through the skin) so they had to repair that with surgery. As far as they could tell he didn't have internal or brain injuries....small issues with the lungs (collapse of the lung I think she said?). He also has a broken pelvis, but they aren't really dealing with that right now...trying to get the more severe stuff taken care of first. He will be there at least a week.
The basic story....
they usually take two vehicles to church so she can usher the kids home for nap and he can stay to chit chat more....luckily he didn't have Noah with him like he usually does. Donna passed a tractor that was too wide for the road and she even had to slam on her breaks to get past it. Evidently though Brian got to it on a curve, so he didn't know it was there (and she is pretty sure it was over the line like it was when she came to it). He usually talks at church before, so she stayed there for a while, but when they released the kids to children's church and he still wasn't there she went to look for him. She got to the scene about the time they got him out of the car and she said there were tons of rescue and medical people there.
