I got a problem. I'm seated now (and probably won't move for a bit). Just a little bit ago I took a tumble. My right knee just stopped supporting me in mid stride. It hasn't done that in months. The good news is that I (kinda) remember what that was like. So in about ten to twenty minutes I should be able to stand.

I'm praying, too.
I see that armydude is offline now so I guess his knee is better. My older daughter's knee used to do the same thing once in a while.

My left knee does that ever so often ever since bending the joint backwards playing high school football 30 something years ago.

If y'all could say a prayer for me. I'm having some difficulty adjusting to my meds. Its throwing my system off. Technically its back on, but i've been off so long, that on feels weird. So if you could.

I'm glad to pray for you, Terri. Hubby had a hard time adjusting to his diabetic meds at first.....and any time there is a change!

Thanks Donna. It was rough to start with, but they doubled the dose yesterday. It made breakfast and the first few hours interesting this morning. Tomorrow I start the new meds. It should be a fun day!

I emailed DCS to tell them about her appointment last Monday (when the doctor prescribed the braces for her legs). DCS told me to get a letter from that doctor and they might be able to adjust the adoption assistance.

Dad had to go from the nursing home back to the hospital this past Sunday evening. He is still there and is not doing well. It is difficult to watch a loved one go up and down the health roller-coaster, each time making a lower low and a lower high. Your continuing prayers are appreciated.

Dear Singing News Fans,
Let me start off by saying "Thank You" for the hundreds of cards and emails of encouragement as I walk this new path of end stage renal failure. To get you up to date, I am healing well after my stomach surgery to insert the tenckhoff catheter. TaRanda and I both now have completed the home dialysis training sessions and graduated with honors! LOL I still am having issues trying to get regulated to the dialysis, but I know the Lord is helping me and things will get better. I am doing the CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) at home and on the bus. With doing the manual exchanges, I am able to continue traveling and singing.
I am going to keep winning people to the Lord. There will be no quitting. I am going to keep kickin' and eventually have a kidney transplant. Many have asked if I am going to quit singing because of my sickness and the answer is— ABSOLUTELY NOT. God is helping me and we are going to keep our singing schedule by the grace of God. Thank you, Santa, for posting my request from the geezer thread to this one. I also have another request. We have just learned that my 42 year old nephew has to have his aortic valve replaced. He is the daddy of the little boy that was born with a serious heart problem and had to have a heart transplant when he was only a year old. (Some of you might remember that I posted a prayer request for the little boy, because he was showing signs of rejecting the heart last year.) The little boy still has problems with infections, and this surgery on his dad will be especially trying for their family. I request prayer for them, and for my sister, who is facing the issue with our dad, and with her son and grandson, all at the same time.
Christi: I pray that your job situation will be resolved in a manner that works well for you, GB, and your hubby. Also, praying for other mentioned requests, and thanks to all who have our family in their prayers.
