Would that be like shin splits? Because in true compartment syndrome, we slice open the muscle to allow room for swelling. Its quite icky looking. They do this frequently with severe burns, crush injuries, and snake bites.

Pray for Nov.4th election:
“When the righteous rule, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2
“Righteousness exalts a nation.” Proverbs 14:34
“Blessed is that nation whose God is the Lord..” Psalms 33:12
Between now and November 4th, please pray with me for the following specifics:
(and pass this on quickly to as many committed Christians as you know for the Lord God can turn this election around with a Word and He can do it in an instant – 30 days is nothing to Him – but we must take action – we must ask Him for what we want and then thank Him that it is done and continue to thank Him that it is done daily – we must guard the words of our mouths – AND WE MUST ALL VOTE – be a doer of the Word, not a hearer only!)
1. Ask the Lord God to reveal the truth to the people of this country about those running for office in the upcoming November 4th election. (Pray as David did in Psalm 35)
2. Ask the Lord God to change the intentions of people’s hearts (including yours!) so that their will shall be aligned with His – He will not override a person’s will but He will change it by changing the intentions of that person’s heart. (Pray as David did in 1 Chronicles 29:18)
3. Ask the Lord for salvation and for changed intentions of the hearts of all our elected officials – soon – and if they do not respond very soon, ask Him to move them out of office and replace them with righteous, Godly, elected officials. Start with the Federal government and then move on to the State, county/parish, then local governments – for all government officials. (Pray as Paul told Timothy to do in 1 Timothy 2:1-3)
4. Ask the Lord to change the intentions of the hearts of the voters in this country (especially the 65 million identified evangelical Christian voters), so that they will ALL get out and vote – in accordance with His will -for this nation. (Proverbs 29:2)
5. Ask the Lord to return our country to the God-inspired form of government that was envisioned by the framers of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution – and for a government that goes beyond what even these men dreamed was possible – to realize what the Lord wants this nation to become. 6. Ask the Lord to change the intentions of the hearts of all of those involved in the media - for salvation, wisdom and to tell the whole truth – ask for a quick work or for them to be removed and replaced with righteous, Godly persons – i.e., the news, theatrical film, television, radio, newspapers, magazines, book publications, music, internet, etc. (Ephesians 1:2-3)
7. Put the Lord God in remembrance of all of the prayers prayed for this nation and of the covenants established with Him by all of the righteous who have lived here since the Pilgrims first landed in 1620 – state your case for this nation. (Isaiah 43:26) (Deuteronomy 7:9)
8. Stand in the gap for America – Moses stood in the breach to prevent the Lord God from destroying the Hebrew people in the wilderness (one man stood in the gap for over a million people – surely there are enough righteous in this country to stand in the gap for America’s 301 million). (Psalm 106:23)
9. Once you have asked the Lord God for these things – give Him praise and thank Him from now until the election that it is done and thank Him that we have what we asked for – believe we have received it!! (Mark 11:22-24; Matthew 18:19)
10. Do not be discouraged – time is short, but NOT too short for the Lord God who did create the world in only 6 days – 30 days is NOTHING to Him. One word from the Lord God will change anything and everything in an instant! So encourage yourself as David did. (1 Samuel 30:6)
“…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
“But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.” (Ezekiel 33:6)
We Christians ARE the Watchmen – and we HAVE NOT been doing a very good job of sounding the alarm! But we can turn this around – so, sound the alarm!!
Smith Wigglesworth said, “I’m not moved by what I see. I’m not moved by what I feel. I’m moved only by what I believe.”
So I say to you, don’t be moved by what you see or feel or hear (especially from the media), be moved by the Word of God and the Word of God only.

Just received word that one of Brenda Smith's sisters, has been life flighted to a hospital in Knoxville. She is on life support. Brenda and her husband own Hidden Mountain Resorts. Please remember this family in your prayers.

Heather, I will definitely pray for wisdom, strength and encouragement for you. Without knowing all the details, I would advise against leaving the school. The best way to refute this kind of stuff is just to keep on keeping on, letting your light shine. Don't get discouraged. Just keep your eyes focused on the Lord. And keep living your life the way HE directs. This sort of thing will happen to you your entire life, so when God is faithful in leading you through it this time, remember it the next time!

I agree with Donna, allow God to use this to make you stronger and possibly less sensitive to the thoughts and words of others. The only one whose opinion really matters is God's and if He is approving, let the other things go. I know that is much easier said than done but if you can, God can use this to strengthen you.
