Born & raised here in the Bluegrass and have always resided within a 100 miles radious of the actual house where I was born

back then hospital births were the exception, not the rule, especially if you were not an overly wealthy family or a really high-risk maternity patient

Everyone knows Santa is from the North but they allow me to hang around the Smoky Mountain area a lot.

Santa We just checked and there is a Mashpee in Mass. Maybe that is iwhat you were thinking of... it is near Cape Cod near the air force base

Mashbee......or Mashpee..........how do I explain this without a map. Not too far from getting the ferry to Nantucket (I think) and a couple other places. Maybe check the map when I get home tonight.
Vacationing in the area next year.


ETA..........Yep, got my state mixed up. Glad I will have a map to get me there next year. Sorry about that.

I'm a Beverly Hillbilly. Grew up in Beverly Hills Subdivision just outside of Rossville, GA (which is where the roga part of my screen name comes from). And have always lived within about six blocks of there expect for the 5 years I spent attending The University of Georgia!! Woof!! Woof!!
About 1 mile from Tennessee and about 20 miles from Alabama.[sm=biggrin.gif]
