Someplace sells pumping bras. Someone else might know more about them. The cones on the pump fit right in there, so you can do hands-free pumping!

I went through several brands of nursing bras, and I have to say that I love the Target ones the best too. Every single other bra I had, the wire snapped after a few washes. I have Target bras that are over 18 months old, and still fine. I wear the underwire ones, and really like them. Erin, I think I smell different when nursing too!!! With Reagan, I though the odor went away after several months, but I still smell it now with Lincoln (6 months). I think it's because it's summer. I think it's milk, mixed with sweat from larger breasts and the work of lactating. Don't be surprised if the smell gets stronger when you start nursing Isaac. The skin to skin contact may increase the sweating, and you'll have baby saliva on your breasts contributing to the odor. It's not bad, just something you notice. Don't try to hide it with perfume, it might irritate the baby.

Erin- also remember that comfy is most important, but in a few weeks/months when you are not so sore, etc. pretty will be important too. I made the mistake of only getting cotton, serviceable bras with my first (comfy, breathe, etc.) and it did take a toll in the bedroom- I still have my comfy ones, but now I'm fifty/fifty between pretty and serviceable and comfy, plain ones. I think for your situation, go to the bf store and get one or two of those to start and see if you like them- if you only wash and line dry, they usually hold up well- I have some that are 5 years old! Check that out... I started a club... See, I *am* cooler online than irl...

Well, I've joined the club too, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll get to be a part (maybe we could create emeritus status for those of us who support nursing, but aren't anymore). Kenna baby's only nursing one or two times every couple of days now. She's also weaning off of formula too. It's exciting, but still kind of sad. It's been three years since I haven't been either pregnant or nursing, so I'm really looking forward to my body being my own again. But then, I think about the fact that she's my last one and she's weaning and I'll never nurse a precious little one again and I just want to cry! Erin, glad to hear everything's going so well! Before you spend a ton of money on a hands free system, check this out at kellymom.com. My girlies are quite large (I'm a DD when nursing) and this is the set up I used to pull of hands-free pumping. --Kat

Thanks for those links Sarah. Kat, what a cool idea.....man I sure wish I would have thought of that when I was pumping and working. There were so many instances where I had to get up, hold paper towels on my boobs to push a button to let in the newspaper guy or the garbage man.

I love my Bravado bras!! I have 2 of the original bras and 1 nursing tank. Instead of buying a hands free pumping bra I bought a sports bra at Wal-Mart. I found one that hooks in the front, but I think any would work, and I cut slits in them for the breast shields. The bra has to be pretty tight or everything will start to fall as the bottles get heavy.

That last bra looks so comfy, Erin! I have never heard of a sleep bra before. I usually wear those tank tops with the built in support and adjust the straps so it's low cut so I can just pull it under my boob. Those tanks come three in a pack at Wal*Mart really cheap, so you can get them all stained with breastmilk. And then just wear a sweater over them when you're out since I wouldn't wear them by themselves in public.

Yup yup...totally normal. If it's still like that by the time you can start giving boob-to-mouth nursing, put Isaac on the side that produces less first. Although, I don't think it really matters too much if you don't mind temporarily having a slightly larger breast than the other.

What kind of medicine can I take for nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea? David still gets mostly pumped breastmilk and I'm not sure of what is safe to take and what's not.
