This thread always makes me hungry!

I'm not sure what's on the menu tonight...probably cold meat and salad - it's way too warm to cook much!

Pizza. Pour a pan pizza for my guys and I'm going to try making a pizza on a high fiber flatbread for me.

There are chicken breasts marinating in teriyaki sauce in the crockpot. It was way to hot to have to turn the oven on, so that's my alternative. I'll probably throw some veggies in more towards dinner time and make rice for the side.

I made potato soup for lunch and we have some left that we will have for dinner with burgers.

I had boiled corned beef (the real stuff, bought around St Patrick's Day) and ca . . . uliflower. Kevin, if he's hungry, will have leftover hamburgers. (He had lunch out today, and he usually does not eat supper when he goes out to lunch.)

I'm having a burrito! I'm really enjoying dh having seminary class while the church choir breaks for the summer. It gives me an opportunity to eat dinners he would turn his nose up at!!

a leftover pizza I brought home from VBS this AM. We ordered pizza for the kids for lunch and we had a lot left so several leaders brought one home.

Lemon-grilled chicken breasts, steamed asparagus, and we're trying this brown rice medley for the first time (the store I went to didn't have the couscous I wanted, and I needed something speedy).

With the extra grilled chicken breasts, tomorrow we'll have whole wheat penne pasta, vegetable, and chicken alfredo with salad on the side.

Scratch that! We decided to have Greek salads with the leftover grilled chicken, instead. Romaine, onion, feta, homemade tzatziki, tomato for DH, and olives for me. Whole-grain ciabatta rolls on the side.

Oh, and that rice medley was delicious, btw.

Last night was leftovers from the previous two days (pot roast and lasgane) everybody just fixed a plate with whatever they wanted and heated it in the microwave. Tonight is chicken and dumplings. It's hot to use the oven, so a one-pot, top-of-the-stove meal is just right.

We do that sometimes...we call it "clean out the fridge" night. I hate throwing food away.

Tonight we're having spaghetti, rolls, and some kind of vegetable (no salad because I have to go grocery shopping - my favorite pastime )

Spaghetti, garlic bread and salad for the family. I made a lighter version for me with lots of veggies and less meat in the sauce. I'll have mine over Barilla Plus pasta.

We had chicken, new potatoes, onions, and carrots in the crockpot with 1/2 cup of italian dressing. There's enough chicken left over to make chicken salad for lunch!!

We will finish up the potato soup and I will make salads to go with it. I might make rice pudding for dessert.

Last night poor hubby came home with the flu So dinner plans changed to chicken soup.

Tonight I am going to the Beth Moore similcast at church, so instead of homemade pizza, the gang is getting DiGiorno.
