quote:
I have a question--doesn't intent make a difference, when charges are considered? I know a lot of young women, even Christians, have been completely brainwashed into thinking that what is being "removed" is not a baby, or even alive, at least not to a certain point. Others are forced into it, manipulated into it, decieved into it. I think the first people to be prosecuted are the ones running abortion mills and actually performing the abortions, telling girls it's no big deal, it's not a baby, it won't hurt, it'll save your future, etc. At first this sounds right, but really this is taking away the accountability of one's free-will. People are deceived and manipulated into murdering someone in cold blood all the time. That is what gangs here in Chicago ask newbies to do. But, in God's eyes, no amount of peer pressure or deceit justifies their actions, and they are as guilty of murder and a serial killer, and are therefore just as deserving of punishment as anyone else. That's just my 2 cents.
