uponeagleswings -> Coupon Train? (7/6/2008 7:00:47 PM)

I know there are lots of ladies on here who cut coupons...is anyone interested in being part of a coupon train? I was thinking about it today as I was cutting coupons and looking at how many I don't use that I'm sure someone else would love to have. Here's how I'm thinking it would work, based on what I've seen on some budgeting forums: I'd compile a list of addresses of those who were interested. Then I'd get all of the coupons I don't have a use for and put them in an envelope to mail to the first person on the list. That person would go through, pick out what they wanted, put in at least as many coupons as they took out, and mail it to the next person on the list (the address list would probably circulate along with the envelope). You'd be responsible for postage for mailing out the train once it came to you. Because this would require exchanging addresses, there would be some requirements for who could join (probably similar to the secret sister requirements). Also, I'd like to keep it to mainly (but not necessarily exclusively) manufacturers coupons since lots of stores won't take internet coupons. Depending on how many people are interested, we could have more than one train to cut down on mail times. Probably makes this a US only thing, unless someone wants to organize a Canadian swap (sorry ladies). So what do you say? Anyone interested?
