ORIGINAL: teclils on this board all the threads I have read is about all those you don't believe in (not very uplifting to me)... so I ask you who do YOU agree with and follow as preachers , ministers and teachers? Welcome to Crosswalk. This can be a hard question to many. I get good ideas and points of views from many ministers. Even those I do not agree with, nor would ever follow. Everything is to be judged by Scripture, but even a point of view by a false prophet can shed "some" light on something. If you recognize everything for what it is. I've read Spurgeon, most of the WoF teachers, some like Watchman Nee, etc. So, we're all influenced by who we read from. The real question is can we truly evaluate the teaching by the Word, or do we judge the Word by the writings of man? The Holy Spirit "leads" us to truth, but it's our responsibility to examine what is presented as truth by the TRUTH. Ezekiel reveals that bad things happen to good and bad alike all so "THAT THEY WILL KNOW THAT I AM YAHWEH!" Who do I follow? Personally, I start each day with at least two hours of Bible Study. I may use research material, but I don't follow any one man's way of thinking. Exegesis, Context, etc. whatever the term. We are to follow our Lord and Saviour in all things.
