I am 45 mins away But it is past midnight for most of the world, so I guess it can count.

My parents and I went shopping for appliances and mattresses for me. I actually didn't buy anything, but found what I want for all of it. I am going to go to Sears tomorrow to get the appliances and then I will get the mattress on Wednesday. Also, my mom, sister and I are going to do a shopping/girls' trip on Wednesday, so that will be a lot of fun.

Hope everybody had a great ending to June and that you will have a great start to July!!! The year is half way over!!!!!!!!! When did that happen????

Well, according to my clocks, the last one started five hours early, so I was an hour late because I only started this one four hours early.

Besides, I really, really, really wanted to start a chat thread. In my almost seven years here I've never managed to start a chat thread until now. Of course, if it goes the way most of the threads go that I start, it'll be dead before the end of page three.

Good morning, ladies.

We finally have the generator hooked up so E and I are heading out to run errands. I have to sign the kids up for summer camp and pay {gulp}, try to meet up with the pastor of the church we visited Sunday (we were supposed to yesterday but couldn't due to the generator guy not coming when he said...surprise!). I have to drop something off at a friend's house as well but will probably do that tonight when E and I go by where he did taekwondo and get him set for this summer. Hopefully the twins will be able to as well.

Have a nice day, ladies!

Well, I've been celebrating my birthday now for nearly 23hrs.

I had a great day. Work threw a morning tea for me - passionfruit cheesecake. Dh and the kids put on dinner for me when I got home - noodles - and gave me some small gifts and a bunch of long stemmed Japanese irises (my favourite flower).

Kylie

Happy Birthday, Kylie!!!

Happy Anniversary, car2ner!

And here I thought y'all might actually NOT have a thread started for July....LOL. Yeah, right.

I'll make this short this morning. 4 weeks until we go get our moving truck...it's gone fast. We got our paperwork off for the house, etc. and mailed the deposit check yesterday. J isn't feeling well today (fever, headache, icky stomach. If you think about it, please pray for him.

Roberta, how did your appt. go yesterday? Or did you post that in the June thread? (K, just read about him rescheduling. That stinks...sounds like an appt. I was supposed to have on Monday the 7th. I called them to change the time yesterday as it's a woman appt. & I didn't want my 5 year old to HAVE to be there. Turns out the doc isn't in the office that day....no one called....appt. rescheduled for the 10th).

Anyway, I'll try to get caught up a little later (maybe nap time).

God bless,
Megan

I'm holding the OP reasonable if I feel compelled to get graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars! Every time I see the title of this thread.... I get a s'mores craving.

Oh well, HAPPY CANADA DAY! And Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!

Say it isn't so. Nicole! Get out there and start a little fire. You must have one. Today. Do you need step by step directions?

LOL! I do want to try a s'more one day! I was supposed to have them at a friends place before. Her mom brought out marshmallows, graham crackers and then chocolate sauce. The stuff you are supposed to use to make chocolate milk. Needless to say none of us had any... We didn't even have anything to melt the marshmallow! Lorne has also told me I need to eat a s'more. I am sure we will sometime this year since my parents have a fire pit at their place now!
