Yes, I got totally lucky and found someone with an engaging and often eloquent intellect, rare wisdom and common sense, dignified humility, unmatched kindness and understanding, and a heart for G-d. And, of course, she's absolutely beautiful too, which doesn't hurt.

I'm married to a wonderful person!

We've only been married two years, so maybe we still count as newly weds, but these two years have been the best of my life. We were in a long distance relationship for about four years when we were dating. Then one day he put all his stuff he could fit in his car and drove 3,000 miles to ask me to marry him.

Of course I married him and our marriage has been amazing. I'm so blessed to be married to an incredibly patient person because being married made me realize how impatient I can be some times. lol. He's such a good husband. He's always helping around the house with whatever needs to get done and he is very loving. We have so much fun when we're together. He really is my best friend.

This entire thread deserves stars - LOTS of them; and on every post as well.

I'm not currently married, so I have nothing further to add to the conversation, but I did want to thank everyone for posting in such a wonderful, uplifting thread.

I think this thread should be made into a "sticky" so that it stays up at the top of the threads in this folder.

Another ME TOO. Many people have commented "you 2 were made for each other" and that speaks volumes. We have had our ups and downs but I am glad that we both have stuck it out. He is truly my best friend.

I am married to the most wonderful, most amazing man I know. There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for the treasure He has given me in my husband. He really balances me out, patient where I'm impatient, deliberating where I'm spontaneous, and always ready to crack a joke and make me smile when I take myself too seriously. He is truly my favorite person to be around, and I'm content to be anywhere in the world, as long as he is there with me.

I am married to the most wonderful man on earth (for me anyway ). He loves me like Jesus. He always tells me "I was made to love you". He is a wonderful father, an awesome spiritual leader, and takes care of us and loves us (me and our 7 kids) like God says a man is supposed to do. I am so blessed and I just pray I never take him for granted and that I am always the wife he needs me to be.

LOL, it was here in the bedroom already. I have not been on lately because of work. Husband was on his laptop in living room. I was hoping to watch an old movie with him on my lap top, but, as soon as his head hit the pillow he started snoring.

My husband is wonderful too! We have our times, every marriage does, but we come out on the other end smelling like roses and loving and respecting each other 10x more then before. I know that he's the perfect one for me and that I'm the perfect one for him! I wouldn't trade my life for ANY other person's.

One of my most favorite things that my hubby and I do is go out for coffee or dessert and talk about what God has been doing in our life and what the Lord has been teaching us. He shares with me and I share with him. I don't know what's more attractive then a man who can talk to his wife about those personal "God-moments" - AND will listen to his wife's personal "God-moments" too. Wooooo Weeee! !!

I definitely have been lucky enough to find a man who treats me well, is honest, kind to everyone, takes care of me, and is competely selfless. As everyone else mentions he has his flaws but his WONDERFUL points largely outweigh his flaws and make him amazingly beautiful.

Yes, but it took a long time to finally SEE that. Now I thank God for his grace and our tenacity to hang in there. What a loss I would have had to not have my dh.
