I own the most LPs, I think. CDs would be #2. ...unless you count the fact that I've converted pretty much my entire collection to mp3, in which case I have far and away the most mp3s.

Cd's. I love my Cd collection and I'm finding that digital downloads are a convenient way to put together my favorite playlist!

Cassettes stiill have the lead in my collection but their lead is constantly shrinking and will be past by CDs in the near future maybe even by the end of this year.[:)]

CD's and digital are the same for me, cause my digital stuff was ripped off of my CD's, and cassettes are a close, close second. I have a computer program that will record cassettes onto my computer, but I havent done it yet. Need to though, cause some of them are old, and out of print. I'll feel more comfortable once I get them all on CD and off those rickety cassettes!!!

For me I would say it is pretty close between CD's and LP's so I voted for both of them. Actually, I might have more LP's now since I bought all of those Blackwood Brothers LP's off of ebay a while back.

I'll have to say cds would be my answer. Especially since I don't often download, I couldn't pick digital downloads. However, I have more on mp3 then cds. I've converted tapes, records, and all my cds to digital, so that shows that my mp3 library is bigger! 259 albums... 3417 songs!!!!! (and growing....!)

LP's by and far have the edge over CD's. Both have been growing and I wish I could collect a bunch more LP's, esp. from the 50's, 60's, and early 70's.

I like LP's so much because of the cover art and all, BUT, the only problem is they just take up so much space, and i don't have much space living in an apartment. Now if i had a large house with a big basement or large den that i could make it for my record storage, then, i might go back into collecting albums again. But , for now, i'm sticking to CD's, which still take up space, but not as much.[:)][:)]

Well,I have between 400 and 600 records in my collection.Not all of these are necessarily for my own use.I prefer compact discs to pretty much anything else.Second to me would be digital downloads.The only problem w/digital downloads is that there is no accompanying artwork and song/musician credits... [:@]

You can get a ton of LP's for your collection from ebay if you don't already do that, and if you have the money. I got most of the LP's I have from there. And they are some good ones too - Cathedrals, Statesmen, Blackwood Brothers, Florida Boys, Sego Brothers and Naomi, Plainsmen, and Thrasher Brothers just to name a few.
