A wife committed adultery and so the couple decided to get a divorce. The wife has realized that God wants her to fight for her marriage and humbled herself before her husband and God.
Her husband says he is no longer her husband and he no loner loves her. As a matter of fact, he is now dating a new lady and says he has moved on.
He says that biblically he has every right to divorce her.
How does the wife respond to this?

Biblically he did have every right to divorce her. He has every right to move on with his life. It would be up to the Holy Spirit to move his heart to reconciliation with her, just as it is for Him to move her heart to repentance over the sin she committed. Her response now is to make it right with God, to realize that if it is God who she thinks wants her to fight for her former marriage that HE will be doing a work on the man also. It doesn't seem that way however. At least not now and especially not if he were to remarry.

How should she respond??? Respond to what? He has moved on, she CAN'T do anything. To have any sort of agreement, whether contractually or marriage, you've got to have a meeting of the minds. You don't have a meeting of the minds as he is not in agreement.
