deedeeking98 -> hello, hello, hello.... (6/10/2008 9:06:25 PM)

I'm from Western Washington, the Evergreen State. The weather today is.....
RAINING!!
It rains nearly EVERY day which is why we stay Ever Green! [:D]
I've been searching for a nice, appropriate forum where people are friendly and enjoy engaging discussions, not chaos and bashing one another. I think I've found it here at Crosswalk. I look forward to getting to know each other, friendly banter, good conversation and fun and games (the clean and sober kind) [:)]

Been married coming up on 19 years, 3 children, two live with us and one we will meet in heaven one day. My husband is a chef. Today we dropped him off in Seattle at the Ocean Fresh boat. They steam off to Alaska for the next 100 days to receive and process salmon from the fishing boats. It's his first time to do this. We're all anxiously awaiting to see what God has planned for all of us in this big adventure. I stay at home with my children. Our son goes to public school and our daughter is home schooled. I've been blessed to be home with the kids since day one. We have two cats, but I am not a pet person; if I were, I prefer dogs. [;)]
We are a faith based, saved by grace family trying to walk the talk and live the righteous way every day. (Some days are more successful than others.) I prefer conversation to music so I like to talk alot. Most of my friends either work or are not phone talkers, so I like to "chat" on-line when I can. I hope to make a cozy spot for myself in the corner here and enjoy the interaction.
Nice to meet you all. If I left anything out, just ask. Also, I will be here from 10-12 pm every Friday to take your questions LIVE! [8D] (kidding, I like to think I have a great sense of humor.)

_CANCELLED_ -> RE: hello, hello, hello.... (6/16/2008 6:08:31 PM)

Hi Deedee, nice to meet you. I'm new here too. We have a lot of opposite traits and whatnot but our big commonality is our Faith. And although I didn't become a Christian until I was 30, I have a lot of faith.

I'm a huge animal lover. They've been so much comfort to me all my life. I can't imagine a home without one.

I prefer to talk online than on the phone and I prefer music to conversation. LOL It's true. I get lost in music. I think God is a lover of music, hence, near-death experiences hearing heavenly music like nothing they've heard on earth. I can't wait to hear it.

I was born and currently live in WA state (Aberdeen) and I abslutely LOVE it here but I was raised in Alaska. I just moved down here 3-1/2 years ago. I know something about those processing boats and all I can say is, what a job!

Looking forward to seeing you here and chatting about my favorite topics, God, Jesus, heaven, my Faith. .. [:D]
