Hi i need some help i am a Worship Leader of Bethel Worship Centre and i'm a teen 2 and i need some help on how to bring in Teenagers to our church and become members i also want LOTs of children and adults in our church too. do u have any ideas on how to bring in teenagers, children, and adults to the church i mostly want Lots of teenagers to join the church and be members of our church since i'm a teen 2. And were having a Kids Crusade on August 1st and 2nd and there r going to be i think some teenagers from a church that we use to go to... what could be some games and maybe also some activies we could do? thank u so much!!!! -Cassandra

Pray pray and pray some more. You can do worship sessions in different areas in community to show the joy of praising and worshiping the Lord and evangelistic outreach. The best way to bring members into a church is for the members to tell their friends about Jesus and invite them to church activities. You would have to get permission for outreaches from places you might do concerts. When other teens see teens enjoying worshiping and loving the Lord and learning of Him through bible study they would be attracted to it. And remember that it is the Lord who adds to the church so don't be discouraged if it takes time. Praise the Lord with gladness and joy they can be very contagious. I would also suggest that you get the members of your church to devote time to get together and pray for the community that they Lord would touch the hearts of the community to receive your witness. Perhaps a weekly or even more often time to just get together for prayer for the community.

well me and another friend of mine r the only teens.. and she is NC and will not come back till july 15. and theres another teen but he doesnt come anymore he hasnt came in months i think.

I praise you for the work you have a head of you, If you pray and the adults in the church are behine you have ahead start, Having evetns will help the church Grow look in to new people coming in tio the area (new Move ins) OUTREACH OUTREACH!!! is a start, Are all the supports ready for new growed? Just getting the Word out that your church is a place that teens can come and them the whols family is a major part of the work, Do you have a youth leader that is on broad will with the ideals and want the group to grow! Have your church stared VBS that a great way fro children to want to come and ejoy the Love of Christ and then parent will follow, . Most of all the Lord will supply when the prays have been asked and the people are all working together for His Glory! Again I Praise you for the desire in your heart!

i do want Children,Teens, and Adults to coem and were having a Kids Crusade on Augest 1st and 2nd. we need alot of prayer so children, teens, and adults will come!!! But just so u know we have a sign u know like to put events on and that u know? what could we put on there to let Teens, and everybody know that there welcome? should i put Teen are welcome? r maybe Come worship Jesus with us everybody is welcome including teens? any advice on what to do there?

It has been my experience that teens come because other teens invite them. Invite every friend you have, and urge them to invite their friends. By and large people come to a given Church because someone asked them to come. Behind our last Church there was a low income apartment complex (easy walking distance); I took some kids from our youth group with frozen candy bars and a flier explaining our Service times door to door. Turned out a few of the kids at the housing knew some of the kids in our youth group, we picked up a couple of kids and one family. One of the teens asked the Lord into his heart his second visit to the Church! Because of the turnover at the housing, we repeated our trip at least once a year. Pray and the Lord will open doors, remember it is about Him. We now serve at a rural location, so other doors will have to open for us, they will.

You could made two kinds of ads up The one that are in a area a lot of youth see as parks /school use all youth are welcome .incite .we wmnt to see you etc. This will let them know it is a place were they will feel good about coming. If it in child friendly like children play ground , Parent place let the words we more to them . Are you have a two events? What are the ages you are looking for? Preteen 11 to may 16 is a large span and the event may be a mixe of things , When you said Kids to me it meand 4-8/9yrs. and that is a whole drifferent tyoe of event. What is your plan s. Where about are you as in state wise.? Will school be back in yet or year round, ( as in Fl I now school stated frist week of Aug. And the we have a mix of year .reg school here inNC in each community, Maybe target these areas for a good turn out. I really like the door to door idea .

The Spirit must draw them. The life you live should draw people. They should start asking questions, etc. Jesus drew people. There is a danger in trying to bring people in to listen to a message if they are not being drawn by the Spirit. Far too many churches have pandered in this way, and church has become a Sunday Club for the mildly religious. If God isn't calling LOTS of teens, young people to you, then be content and focus on the ones you have. One must learn how to walk (in God's eyes) before running. You cannot force or make a move of God, simply by wanting a HUGE turnout--no matter how genuine your motives may be. God must call them. Beyond this is a waste of time, a practise in routine. Seek to avoid this kind of mistake many churches have made.

If you can use church board to anounce event definately do so. Since you are a teen talk to others at school or where ever you hang out. Just give them the Gospel message and let them know your hours hopefully you have tracts that have address, hours of service and such to give out.

I would be more interested in bringing Teens to the True Church of God and that church is the Body of Christ, and that can only be done in preaching the full Gospel of Christ, (Gods Mercy and His Wrath). Teens needs to repent and come to the saving grace of God in truth, they must become Born Again (That's Means New Creation, A changing of the heart and mind) Transformed to the likeness of Jesus. :)

Get to know the teens in your area... ask the teens that you know in your church if they know anyone who would like to come... talk to people in your church like your pastor... I think the main thing is knowing people in your area who could come. So you want all ages to come? You have a sign? That's good... "Everybody Welcome" since you're reaching out to adults, teens, and kids.... all ages. Right?

SO how is it going? Starting to plan the activites as in time/place etc and getting the word out about the event! Check any free message broads l cable tv or radio in the area .(most have free PSA) It never hurts to invite other youth groups and have them bring friends (we are all working fot the service of the LORD) I have had a few of my youth bring frineds to another churches youth rally and the friend got saved and staerted in that church all because one on the youth in my group brought them. So you dad is the pastor How is the adults in the church working with you on the activity.? Pray . We had a special group pray and fasting day the week before a event in one of the churchs I worked with it really got the adults that felted they couldnot do anything something they were strong in PRAY!! Are you going to have any Christain Music group play? They usally have a group of youth that follow them , Post about who they are and or post come hear the new "group name" .Also If you are in to" MY SPACE" a LOT of youth group use that as a way to get infro out your friends about the upcoming events! I really like "my space" for that. More kids read" MY Space "than the Local newspapers etc! If you can made a "MY Space" up Have it open for veiwing In you r Groups Name ! I love seeing my past youth group activites!!! It free and you never know how the Lord can use the Page, Keep us posted on how the Lord is useing you!

well i talked to my friend and she said shes goingto try and bring her friends and also some people in her family i think she said her cousin. shrugs anyway we had a pot-o-luck dinner sunday but no teens anyway we have on the sign about the kids crusade and we have flyers 2 for it 2. u know to put on walls and billborads u know? i just hope teenagers come and be members anyway i might have to pray about this huh?

Sound like things are in the working, Keep up the prays, You call it a kids Crusade, As a teen will they know it is for them to ? Some may shy away if they feel it for family-kids? it may depen on the area and the youth you are reaching, If things do not work out may you could have a small plan "youth" activity on a weekend(like a pizza blast) and have an game /praise worship service, We had a community work day and our youth 3 that come were excited and brought 8 other to help out with project we had a great fellowship than day and few weeeks later they came back to a youth meeting, this past week we had a smal VBS at our church the youth were told they could help out with the youner children if they wanted to come (man that was a blessing for me I was planning for 3 and had 13, 2-4 yrold) Well 5 of the youth that came to help were saved thur the messages and had came back the past 3 sundays too! Keep in touch as the even get closer!

Well.. my dad said that the church use to take teens to a place where there were games i think. (my dad is a preacher) anyway thank u for my help i'll just have to keep praying theres power in prayer right and i'll tell ya'll how the kids crusade went and maybe some ideas... hmm have to think.

Hi Ice Queen Am I right in 'guessing' you are a teen yourself? My experience [a youth worker full time for 17 years] is that to attract teens you have to have teens. Which is all fine unless you are starting out. In that case you have to befriend teens. Most teens won't respond to a poster to come to a church - bearing in mind that church is at best an unknown to them and at worst...! So they key is to find a few, make friends with a few and get them to bring a few.

yes i am a teen i am 15, sighs and my friend she is a teen and me and her seem to be the only teens. =/

me and my friend dont go to the same school were friends since she and her family came to our church and we have been friends since i cant wait till tuesday because she will come home and not to change the subject on here can y'all please pray for me i haev a kind of cough and plus it's hard for me to breath and it's not fun at all =( .

The Kids Crusade was fun! =D to me it was like alittle lots of people came but its better then not having any but i was thinking like all the people fill the pews u know? but i guess we have to keep on doing some more events like that i even got to see my cousin and old friend of mine that was helping out and meet another friend! etc.!
