Ok just some fun observations before I'm forced into electronic exile by the approaching severe thunderstorm...
Driving back home I came across some interesting things. Ok, you know how when you're driving along and the various bodies of water you cross (lakes, rivers, etc.) have signs telling you their names? In PA the signs are relatively tiny, but they're pretty prominent in Indiana. Well, I'm driving along and I see one of these big signs and it says, I kid you not, "Nameless Creek". I think I laughed for a good half a mile.
Further along I crossed over "Mad River". We'll have to ask John whether it's the angry kind of mad or the insane kind. 
Also at one point I think I was passed by myself. Some guy in another red 2009 Corolla who I swear looked like me blew past me, and I think he even had PA plates. That was my bit of existential weirdness for the day. (No I wasn't hallucinating - that came much later when I was a lot closer to home and much more tired.  )

For the record - I took a significantly lower number of pics this year than last year. I knew everyone else had their cameras, so it wasn't necessary for me to take them. It was nice.

The Mad river is angry because they never named the nameless river yet. It figures why should it have to have a name when the other one doesn't. (You know how these rivers can be!)
Right now however all the rivers down here are angry.
Don't know if anyone posted this but on Saturday night after getting back from the lake we found that every road between my house and the Indianapolis Airport was closed due to flooding. (Indiana is suffering it's worst flood of all time right now.) Finally by Sunday afternoon the road north opened up so everyone was able to get home.

My favorite was the sign that said "Washboard Road" was that the name of the road or the condition of the road. And if that is the name of the road and they fix the road would they have to change the name?

This one I actually know. The road is very up and down. Goes over a series of small hills kind of like a washboard (up and down and up and down etc)

Can we at least reveal the usernames of those who went? I recognize many of those who are in the pix because I went last year ... but not all.

Not necessarily who is who in the pic ... I'm just curious who all went.
I know there were changes of plans toward the end ... and I stopped reading so as not to incur GT envy.
