Batman has the Batplane, but I don't think that counts. He's not capable of independant flight.

well i think it was the Batchopper or Batcopter (not sure of real name) from the 1960s movie ...

Bat Girl? Nope, while the leather can be fun sometimes there's just something not at all right about someone prancing around in public in it.

actually i think batgirl's outfits were kevlar and skintight rubberized spandex material depending on different incarnations. she did wear a rubber one for the movie though!

i'm not really a comicbook geek, i just like batman! altho john_o is right about fantastic four and invisible woman!

Technically, Catwoman is a villan. She and Batman collaborated on occasion, but only because they had the hots for each other.

Would I date a super hero? I always have had a thing for the She-Hulk. I'm attracted to strong women and her green skin is different enough to be intriguing. Just don't forget her birthday. She has a temper you know.

WoW, Pauley! You really put some thought into your answer!! And LOL at forgetting her birthday...

BTW, my favorite color is green, but ummm...

...not if its my feller.

I always had a thing for Underdog. If you could, which Super Hero would you date and why?

Thanks, BugLady... I appreciate the compliment. Female super-heros that I would date? Hmmm....... That's a good one... Because each of the super-heros had an alter-ego, would I be dating the alter-ego or the super-hero? And, would she be willing to trust me with her "special secret?" (You know how arch villains love to pounce on any kind of weakness!!) Working in corrections, I would be in contestant danger because she would put someone in prison and then I would have to deal with them being really, really POed at her and try and take it out on me...

But, having someone with extra-ordinary abilities would be interesting. Especially if I was publicly married to their 'alter-ego,' but also know who their 'special secret' was and was able to help them out. I guess, I could see myself as the intelligent and highly capable helper like Bruce Wayne's butler. But, long nights (or days, depending on her hours) wondering when she would be back, how banged up she might be.... That would be draining at times. (Not to mention, her having to worry about me because I would very likely 'babysit' those she put behind bars.)

I guess I would prefer someone 'more down to earth' like Batwoman or Catwoman (the reformed one), or someone like that. Someone who isn't immortal, super strong, an alien, etc., just someone who decided to make a difference and trained really, really hard.

Just my thinking....

In Christ,

RC

The Great American Hero.

But he had a girlfriend... and didn't they get married?

(Little-known fact though - they did a pilot for a Greatest American Heroine - where Ralph's identity was revealed to the world so he had to pass the suit on... to a girl. That went nowhere though.)

I know far too much useless trivia...

He did....in fact if you remember Red was like his cryptonite, and for the wedding, his bride had dyed her hair red.

Wait... I think you're confusing two things. I know what you're thinking of and it wasn't Greatest American Hero. (The super suit was red!) <Checks IMDB>

You're thinking of the movie Super Fuzz.

I could use a date with a Super Hero who knows Morse Code. I need a translator... among other things.

Sure, SOS can always come in handy! I need Morse Code because the refrigerator is trying to communicate with me, and I can't quite make out what it's saying.

Communicating with major appliances could be really useful in an emergency, ya know?

Glad to give you a laugh when you needed it, Jeannie.

I would like a superhero who is really big and strong to make me feel safe ...

Oh wait ... God is my refuge and my strength!! I guess I already have One!!!

But if you ask me, "of all the comic book fellers ... which one? ... I chose Superman! (Though Underdog and Maxwell Smart would keep me laughing!)

You're right Psalms!!! And Maxwell Smart I love man I can laugh at with.

Speaking of Peter Pan, there was a book several years back titled The Peter Pan Syndrome. If I recall correctly, it was about men who refuse to grow up, and the Wendy's who enable them. Peter's definitely not hero material. Tinkerbell, of course, is!
