The issue that way I see it:

She likes loud music in the morning.

It disrupts your sleep.

Have you tried helping her find an acceptable volume level that could keep you both happy? Instead of taking the music away like you would for a younger child; maybe a compromise would work. I know it is your house and your rules, but treating her like an adult might go father towards a resolution than discipline.
