ebony101 -> Arlington Road? (6/1/2008 4:11:16 AM)

One night I couldn't sleep & I ended up watching a few movies. The last one I viewed was called "Arlington Road". At least I'm 97% sure that was the name of the show. When I asked any of my friends if they ever saw it - they all said no. Now I know that I wasn't dreaming - Harrison Ford was the star of the show.

Has anyone here ever seen Arlington Road? What did you think of it?

Yeah, I own it. For a while, Wal-Mart had it in the $5 bin. It's got Jeff Bridges and Tim Robbins, not Harrison Ford.

I thought it was a good movie. Jeff Bridges played a good part in this movie.

Jeff Bridges? Was he the professor? I really thought he was Harrison Ford.

What year did this movie come out? It doesn't look like cable will be airing it again. I've asked a few of my friends about it - and they say they've never heard of it [:@].

I saw that in the dollar theater in...oh...1999, I think. I went with my SIL.

Yeah, it was a pretty good thriller with Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusak, and Hope Davis.

Yes, Jeff played a professor in this movie.

Very good movie. Kind of disturbing, but I like those.

For some reason, I keep thinking that Annette Benning was in it (Jeff Bridges' dead wife???). IMDB doesn't list her - am I imagining things?

Even though it had some pretty big plot holes (can't remember exactly what), I liked it. I'm a big Tim Robbins fan. This isn't his best movie, but he does a good job as usual.

Speaking of plot holes - a really big one was - How did they know that he wold end up using the van that had the bomb planted in it?

But other than that it was a pretty knuckle biting oh & ah movie - as 1mlsap said - disturbing. I'd rank it right alongside The Skeleton Key.
