EStan -> If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/19/2008 4:45:13 PM)

and (hopefully) get a marginally straight answer - what would that question be?

I'd like to ask all three, "if elected president, what specifically would you do to help cut energy & gas prices?"

Mine would be a two part question;

a)What steps do you plan to take to reduce the size of government and it's spending, and
b)Do you intend on raising taxes?

Okay, maybe that's a three part question.

My question: What were your favorite tv shows when you were eight years old?

I will answser that one for McCain; there was no TV shows when he was 8 years old.

Thanks

What are you going to do about Medicare?

jbow -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/19/2008 11:31:58 PM)

What is wrong with you?? Are you out of your mind??

I think that would be my question to all three...

To all 3...
"What will you do to restore the rights of labor in the USA?"

So astute! There were about 5000 tv's in the US in 1942, but production of civilian sets was suspended for about two years due to war demands. So, the question for McLobby would be his favorite radio show.

tafkam -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/20/2008 10:47:28 AM)

To Hillary and Obama....what is the highest percentage of an individual's income that should go to the federal government through taxes?

Not a question that applies to McLobby, too?

tafkam -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/20/2008 1:39:23 PM)

Nope.

What rights of labor are you talking about?

How exactly does grabbing the oil company’s profits as a tax lower the price of gasoline?

Especially since per unit sold, gasoline is mid-range profitwise. There are a lot more products per unit that make a bigger profit. [;)]

How do you plan to restore America's honor?

That is the exact question I would ask.

lightshineon -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/22/2008 9:57:21 PM)

Ask McCain which side of the fence he stands on. I would ask Hillary, why her voice is so obnixous. Ask Obama to explain something, anything, besides Hope, change. the same echolaic words, and explain something, anything with a plan to back it up.

tracydolls -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/22/2008 10:23:38 PM)

Have any of ya'll ever read the Bible?

lightshineon -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/22/2008 10:30:13 PM)

haha, very funny!

ChristianNewsWatch -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/23/2008 12:49:10 AM)

My two questions would probably get me tasered, but it would be worth it if a few people's eyes were opened. [:)]

1. How long till the federal government completely bankrupts our country?
(As I strongly believe that is what they are working towards)

2. When will we stop borrowing $3 Billion a day from the Communist Chinese government that is funding your take over of Iraq & Afghanistan?

Spot me one last one please.... (as I'm being tasered) Why are there so many Chinook & police helicopters hovering over American cities?
(I see an average of 50 or so per day in the Ft. Worth, Texas area and based on my research, this is happening in several states)

All the usual political questions are pointless, as they will be answered with lies or avoided altogether [:)]

Beuafort, SC has fighter jets flying low over all the time and nothing sinister about that. You have the Marine Corps Air Station training there.

Maybe someone from the Navy or Fort Worth can tell us whether Chinook helicopters are stationed at the Naval Air Station Forth Worth.

earlbooks -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/29/2008 1:39:30 AM)

I would ask John McCain:

You always push that your "strength" is National Security. If that is true, how were you "duped" by the "National Intelligence Estimate" on Iraq? How are we to trust your judgment in the future on Iran and other issues?

P31W -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/30/2008 8:49:20 AM)

Why did you join trinity, have your children and wife join trinity and have Rev. Wright be such an initmate part of your personal and professional life?

JimboFletch -> RE: If you could ask one question of any/all candidate(s)... (5/30/2008 3:40:58 PM)

Are you still on the patch or have you really quit?
