The SW isn't humid. But it is hot.

The temps in the SW are higher than the SE, but the SE has the humidity. Both are pretty miserable. Though between the two I prefer the drier heat.

I'm a compulsive reader; if there are words, I must read them.

I get so frustrated with the "historical landmark" signs around here along roadways. There is no way I can get them read before I'm past them.

Once again Ditto. I am a word consumer. I will slow down to finish reading a billboard. Even if the topic does not interest me in the least.

I love to read too... the newspaper, books, magazines, cereal boxes, milk jugs, phone books, etc. I cannot walk into a bookstore with a lot of money because I'll spend it there. Bookstores and libraries lure me in today like the candy and toy stores did when I was a child.

When I first learned to read, I figured out how to look up a number in the phone book and called my teacher at home! She talked to my mother, who scolded me for playing with the phone. She and I think my teacher were secretly pleased with my new achievement, but didn't let me know about it until years later.

Don't tell anyone, but at Wendy's, I dip my french fries in my frosty.

I don't dip other fries in other shakes its just not the same. One time when I was pregant I ate this for dinner.

When browsing through a magazine. I go from back to front. If I intend to read it, I will start at the front though.

I'm not alone!!! I do that, too. It just "feels right"

I used to do that with some magazines. Mostly because the most interesting stuff would be in the back instead. Billboard magazine would have the major chart information in the back, and you just had to know what #1 was, etc. I have done the same with newspapers as well.

I am an avid reader. One of my quirks is that I hate borrowing books from the library. I have to own the book before I can enjoy it. When I moved out of my house into my apartment, I had to sell off alot of personal items and one was the bulk of my library and after counting out 800 books I quit counting. I kept my favorites but still have two full book cases stacked two rows deep on every shelf.

My Mom has told me that when I was little I would read the dictionary. I think that's pretty quirky.

I love contrasting flavors like salty/sweet Hot crispy salty fries dipped in a cold sweet chocolate frosty; perfect combo.

I love Vietnamese food because it is full of flavor contrasts. Sweet, sour, spicy then the incredible taste sensation of lemon grass. Yum!

I also love pepper cookies, the pepper flavor with the sweet ginger cookie is so good. I'm sure there are others I have not tried yet that would also appeal to me.
