Jhud -> Obama doing the Lord's work (5/14/2008 2:21:54 PM)

Or so he claims in his latest campaign literature.

I predict with 99% degree of confidence, that those lefties who normally would be apoplectic over the conflation of politics and religion will warmly accept this latest initiative by Obama.

CatholicCritter -> RE: Obama doing the Lord's work (5/14/2008 2:28:41 PM)

Yeah, Lord Moloch...

The same folks who rail on GW Bush for claiming the same thing will ignore their double standard and hang on Obama's every word, it's the audacity of hope in action...

The Lord works in mysterious ways. Is Ann Coldheart sitting out this race?

Elsewhere in this website, the "Electoral Map" notes a major drop in the "projected" McCain victory margin in the past two months, from a 73 vote margin to a ten-vote margin. But, McCain has been less active while the dems duke it out. But this is a GOP website so their projections are perhaps too "optimistic".

Actually, I think in every race in recent history the race has narrowed coming into and just out of the Democratic Convention.

His idea of doing the "Lord's work" then must include the murder of babies (abortion). Hmmmmmmmmmmm, didn't I read something about "thou shalt not murder" in The Ten Commandments? Maybe B Hussein O has a different bible?

it actually includes the murder of babies who miraculously lived through an abortion, so calling Obama's position affirming 'the murder of babies' is actually spot on. obama voted against a bill that would render medical care to said abortion survivors and for placing them in a closet to die in pain and alone.

colliefan -> RE: Obama doing the Lord's work (5/14/2008 7:40:19 PM)

He has also supported a needle exchange program for druggies.

Truly let it be said...he is the secular Messiah this country has been longing for. So let it be written. So let it be done. [8D]

Seems like I read about him in the book of Revelations. The end times may be here sooner than I thought.

LOL. that did'nt even sound sincere. It sounds fake to me. Doesnt ring true for him.

the Lord does control it all,

where did what Judas did stand ?

And don't forget he is SuperObama

Birdiecat -> RE: SuperObama (5/17/2008 8:55:10 AM)

We've learned alot about Barack Hussein Obama, haven't we? The main problem I have with this man is his criticizm of Hillary Clinton. When asked if Israel was attacked would the US go, Mrs. Clinton said yes. Obama called her Bush-like ... does his criticizm of her saying we would defend Israel mean he wouldn't? It is odd how Libs can say/do anything and it's pushed aside. Maybe we should get louder! His statement about not wanting his kids to be punished with a baby. No Christian would make that remark! Who wants Obama in the White House so badly?

djv1255 -> Voting Record (5/17/2008 10:11:29 AM)

I went to BO's senate web site to look at his voting records. Most were "Not voting". I will give him that most of his "not voting" were for amendments to bills but....

A bill to prohibit discrimination on the basis of genetic information with respect to health insurance and employment. ---- not voting
An act to amend title 38, United States Code, to enhance veterans' insurance and housing benefits, to improve benefits and services for transitioning servicemembers, and for other purposes. ------ not voting [:'(]

Well you must really be disgusted by John McCain then, since he has been actively fighting against this bill for months, even as many other Republican Senators are for it.

But then, I guess you'll give McCain a free pass on that one since he's a Republican.

jbow -> RE: Voting Record (5/19/2008 8:17:37 AM)

Remember when there was a picture of Huckabee with what "looked like" a cross in the background? Remember the big deal the liberals made of it?

Check this out.

That quote of his, displayed by that paper, proves he does not know much about Christianity and the Lord's work.

For prayer is the Lord's work. It is what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing for us right now and it is one of the Christian's highest callings.
