We chose this for the high speed internet and for the free long distance phone service...with some of our family in the military the phone service alone has saved us hundreds of $$$ monthly, so I would say choose whatever matches your specific needs best.

Now we have dsl for 17.99. We only have a land line so going to dsl for us was a no brainer. It costs a little more but at least in an emergency we now can be contacted.

(5/28/2008 4:43:39 PM) I'm thinking that dial upers who have had nothing else can handle dial up, but to down grade to it from a faster service whould be pure agony. I know it was for me. Now IM back to high speed. [:D]
