Whether its a billboard, in the newspaper or magazine, or on TV or radio, what ads are your favorite ones to love or hate?

Just saw it for the first time. Cute.

Heavy guitar and drums in a somewhat relaxed but charged beat.
Orange background.
Words across the screen: "Peanutbutter and chocolate walked into a bar...."
A thick circle of chocolate with a zigzag edge is revealed.
Words across the screen: "The rest is history."

Reeses peanutbutter candy.

I like most of the insurance ads with the caveguys.

I do not like a local Kawasaki radio commercial that has an innuendo in it.

There is an insurance commercial on TV that gives a warning, viewer discretion is advised, but only turns out to say that if you have insurance from competing companies then you are paying too much!

Then there was the thread I started in She Says on a certain Yoplait commercial as well.

One of the joys of (again) no longer watching is the absence of obnoxious ads. I can't stand any commercial that screams its message at me.

I have a love/hate for the latest Bud commercial. I love the "Dude" theme but hate the fact that it is a beer commercial.

I love the "dude" commercial. In fact, I love most of Budweiser's ads. Their ad agency has some pretty creative people in it.

There's an AFLAC commercial with Yogi Berra that's been running for a coule of years during baseball season that still cracks me up.

The Humane Society ads with Sara McLaughlin are kinda love/hate for me. I love the message, but they break my heart every time.

I enjoy most of the Aflac commercials, but anything with Yogi in it is a blast. The Sara McLaughlin ad, though, irritates me, because I don't know if it is a bad recording or if she sings with mashed potatoes in her mouth. Not being a country music lover, I never understood the words in that ad, until I heard my daughter sing the song. As a singer myself, I believe that the words are very important and ought to be easily understood.

As important as caring for animals are, somehow I feel it is misguided.

I must agree with you, surely. When I said that the words in a song are important, I intended the words in any song, not just that one.

Well,

the words in songs that aren't crude. I have heard enough crude "music" to make me with I hadn't been able to understand the words!

*groan*

Thing 2 and his friends sang that song for an entire trip to the beach.

I would have happily fed them all to the gulls after that.

I found that the ad that has the warning in it is AIG.

Anyone seen the Huggies commercial where the dad is changing the baby and the baby pees all over the room, like a fire hydrant? And the baby is laughing the whole time. Too close to reality... Cracks me up every time.

I either love or hate commercials. The Zoom-zoom commercials stick in my head for days.

Well, I haven't seen them, but I would get annoyed at them if I did -- I am too old to do all the rides.

Okie dokie, it is quite an "in your face" type of commercial! It mostly appeals to the younger demographic, but then again they probably find it annoying as well!

Oh, hey! I thought about it. Maybe I should see it, if you want to put it here. Maybe others are curious, too!

I hate the commercials that depict the consumers of their service or product as morons.
