small_creation -> misreading posters' names (5/10/2008 9:23:11 PM)

Does anyone else do this: You've been on the forums awhile and have seen the same posters over and again and start saying their user id in your head as you come across their posts -- only to realize that you've been reading their id's wrong?

For example, there's a poster on this site who has a name that I have always repeated in my head as "pharibalt". But that's not this particular user's name...just what I've eyeball-deciphered it as.

There have to be a few of you who've done it, or am I the only one? [;)]

No I have done it, with more than one name. People call me different names also.

I generally don't, but I wonder what name trips people up the most...

Miseading names doesn't happen too much, but reading posts by peoples avatars on the other hand...[;)]

Also, I when the Personally For You folder was first started, I misread it as Personality For You instead. [sm=blush.gif]
