I have a few questions about the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ on the earth.
1. Adam, and Eve had a glorified body before their fall. They were able to reproduce. Will we be able to reproduce during the 1000 millennial with our glorified body?
2. We will control the earth with Christ, and have dominion over those on the earth outside the body of Christ. Will the children born to those outside the body of Christ during that time be able to acquire salvation? If so, How?
3.I know we will be able to see the spirit world. Will those outside the body of Christ be able to see them as well?

Those belonging to Christ, who are gathered at his second coming and who are change into new glorified bodies will not be able to reproduce. This is the Church. This occurrence is described in Mat 24:31.

There will be natural people who will accept Christ after the gathering described in Mat 24:31 who will go into the millennium in bodies of flesh. These will be able to reproduce. This group will include saved of Israel when they declare Christ to be their Messiah. This is described in Jer 31:31 when God writes the Torah In their hearts. Those not accepting Christ during the millennium will weeded out when Satan is released for a short period of time at the end of the millennium; Rev 20:8

The Church will rule with Christ during the millennium and be in positions of administration of the earth under Christ.

Those born during of flesh during this period achieve salvation just as we do today, those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life from the foundation of the world. They must acknowledge and accept Christ as Messiah and the Son of God.

Those of fleshly bodies will be no different then we are today, they will be blind to the spiritual world.

Without doing a lot of research Searcher, this is the way I understand the answer to your questions.

thanks Bob, thats pretty much the way I have viewed it for sometime, but lately I've been studing "Glorified Bodies". The only reference I had of course was Christ after the resurrection, and Adam, and Eve prior to the fall. I know Adam, and Eve walked in the garden with God. so I know they could see him, and hear him. And I know a normal person with a mortal body could not stand in the presence of God. It was Gods plan for them not to die, so I know they could not have had a mortal body like ours. And because there body would never die, it was not subject to the degenerative process ours goes through. And of course they could reproduce. Which left the door open to some thoughts on the matter as far fetched as it is.

Hi Searcher…I suspect what you have in Genesis is a pre incarnate Christ who appeared to Adam and Eve. I don’t think that Adam and Eve had glorified bodies because they were told to be fruitful and multiple which cannot be done in glorified bodies. Also God said that He would drive them from the garden before they did eat of the tree of life and live forever;

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:

This is just my two bits worth but that’s the way I read it. [:)]

Dear searcher1,

1. the saints that overcome the worldwide trial of the mark of the beast of the number of the name of the false prophet also known as the antichrist will Reign with Christ in The Millennium along with the 144,000 Judean virgins and all of the Martyrs from across all time periods beginning with Abel (Christ will probably include the 24 elders as well and the 2 witnesses). They will be made priests of God and will not perish for one thousand years. As to reproduction, the rest of the nations will continue to have death and birth, but those who are given the honor of being priests of Christ at Jerusalem will live one thousand years. Jesus said that they will be like the angels and will not need marriage.

2. The nations will have some type of autonomy to rule their countries, but international issues will be resolved at Jerusalem through the council of Christ and His priests. For it is written in Isaiah that if they do not send a representative to celebrate the feast of the tabernacles that they will have no rain that year.

3. As to the Spirit world, it is Sovereignly God's choosing to reveal certain things to His priests as it is written regarding the gifts of The Holy Spirit that He gives to each according to what He has ordained. But if one asked him, they would receive an answer as written.

From Rev20:4 with Strongs numbers ..."they lived2198 and2532 reigned936 with3326 Christ5547 a thousand5507 years.2094 "...

Plural of uncertain affinity; a thousand: - thousand.

Quoting Vines Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words page 277 column 2 "CHILIOI thousands"

JMHO but I have always found it difficult to place a definite doctrine on a plural of uncertain affinity.

It is my understanding that they were to live forever originally because of Gen. 2:17 Where God tells them if they eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge the will surely die. And in Gen 3:22 God says that AFTER they have known the difference between good, and evil... if they should eat of the tree of life then they will live forever knowing the difference. In other words.. when they were ignorant of the difference between good, and evil they were to live forever, but knowing the difference between good, and evil brought forth death.

It is my understand that when God uses the term "surly die" He is talking about the fall from grace unto spiritual death, not physical death.

I find it very disconcerting that, for all the answers you have received, your answers were not given in terms of Scripture!

First, let me just say that we do NOT know that Adam and Chavah had "glorified bodies" before the Fall! To the contrary, Paul tells us in I Cor. 15:42-49:

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The word translated "soul" is the Greek word "psuchee" and the word translated "natural" is the Greek word "psuchikos." These words, like their Hebrew counterpart "nephesh" or "nefesh," mean "one that breathes" or "animated creature." The word translated "spirit" is the Greek word "pneuma" and the word translated "spiritual" is the Greek word "pneumatikos." These words, like their Hebrew counterpart "ruach," mean "the wind; a forceful breathing out; a current of air; a blast."

The reason why Adam and Chavah did not die in the presence of ADONAI is that they HAD NO SIN! They had not sinned yet; therefore, they had not died yet "spiritually."

Second, we don't really know that they would have been able to reproduce before the Fall! They hadn't yet! For all we know, maybe their "glorified bodies," if they indeed did have them, would not have been able to reproduce! How would we ever truly know?

Whether we will be able to reproduce or whether children will be produced during the Millennium, we would have to see what the Scriptures teach:

Yesha`yahu (Isaiah) 65:17-25
17 "For, look! I create new heavens and a new earth; past things will not be remembered, they will no more come to mind. 18 So be glad and rejoice forever in what I am creating; for look! I am making Yerushalayim a joy, and her people a delight. 19 I will rejoice in Yerushalayim and take joy in my people. The sound of weeping will no longer be heard in it, no longer the sound of crying. 20 No more will babies die in infancy, no more will an old man die short of his days - he who dies at a hundred will be thought young, and at less than a hundred thought cursed. 21 They will build houses and live in them, they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 They will not build and others live there, they will not plant and others eat; for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my chosen will themselves enjoy the use of what they make. 23 They will not toil in vain or raise children to be destroyed, for they are the seed blessed by ADONAI; and their offspring with them. 24 Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion eat straw like an ox (but the serpent - its food will be dust). Now, this may be talking more about the Third Heaven and Earth, the New Heaven and the New Earth (the Eternal State), but then it is at least talking about the Millennium of this Second Heaven and Earth, the current Heaven and Earth.
