Are you talking about a refund from your income taxes? Such a check is not additional income; it's an overage of taxes that you've already paid and that is being returning to you.
If you're talking about a rebate check, then I would encourage you to pray and seek Our Lord's Guidance as to what He wants you to do.
I give as Our Lord directs me to; whatever I have is really His anyway . . . and one thing that I absolutely do know is that He has always taken care of me and always will.
