Do you have a link?...the only letter I see on his site is from June 11.

P.S. Christians, do not be alarmed that TB is coming back...just PRAY!!! Pray against his lies. Pray for those who have been deceived. Pray that TB would permanently go back under the rock that he came out from. Pray that God would give people eyes to see the blasphemy that is taking place in Lakeland and put an end to it. Not nearly severe enough. There are way too many ignorant "Christians" that have not taken the time to learn the word of God. They are too easily deceived because the flesh wants more here and now.

The hucksters that peddled the Brownsville freak show claimed that crime dropped and the quality of life in Pesecola improved dramatically during their "revival" City officials refuted that immediately as completely and 100% false.

I know I read about some of its impact but I can't find the article at the moment. It was a negative impact due to a lot of desparate people coming in with very little money or resources and then the city has to provide emergency help.

I've seen some (exaggerating a bit on my part, but not too much)
attendees of "prosperity meetings" winding up in soup lines.

I get tired of people approaching me for "hand-outs" at our church
and them trying to preach prosperity to me at the same time.

So much has built upon this false-doctrine of "prosperity, etc."

Lakeland is just kinda like a boil coming to a head.
It has to be lacerated to heal up.

I guess those wise enough to discern will always be the ones
cleaning up the messes of the Bentley's; Creflo's, Hinn's, etc.

What do you call someone who ask for proof and then doesn't believe it when it is given. OH! YEAH! Skeptic!
In Acts 12, the people had been praying for God to intervene on Peter's behalf, and HE did. BUT they still didn't believe it when Peter showed up at the door!

Remember, God is the Healer and not TB!!

If the "real" evidence is there, then an honest person will believe.

You're bringing up things that aren't what is being discussed.
Strawman arguments.

No one here is questioning God, they question Bentley.
Those who discern by the Scripture don't even have to question, they know.

The real danger is that those who finally realize what Bentley had done to them
won't question him, they will question God and themselves.

It is not a matter of you should question God. It is a matter of most people do question God after they are deceived. They feel betrayed by God even though His word is there for them to receive.

I don't know your age, geography, background, etc.

So, I can only speak to what I do know and have seen.
The prosperity message has ruined many I know and they
either condemned themselves because they don't have the faith,
or some actually turn against God because of what the charlatans
promised and did not deliver.

God isn't subject to the charlatans.
