Hi everyone. It's been rather quiet in here the last few days. Hmmm...sometimes it seems like it's only quiet when I come in here.
(*checks underarm*--well, I seem to have remembered my deoderant, at least today, so that's not the problem)
(*checks last several posts*--hmmm, content seems ok, if a little self-focused).
Well, must be just that I'm here when everybody else is not.
A little frustrating, and par for the course today: for the last two days every time I get on the computer to do office work that has been neglected for weeks and on which I REALLY need to catch up, the computer has some problem that takes at least an hour to deal with (first it was a Norton update  , then it was a QuickBooks problem that the Norton update screwed up  ) and that eats the time I had alotted for office work.
The good thing is, I have this place to come to and poke around and get outside myself for a bit.
Tink, I reached a point in my driving-and-listening the last couple of school weeks that I was really tired of even my favorite stuff that was in the car. It was amazing the stuff I dug out of the console to find something to listen to that was different...I guess when you're starving you're willing to eat stuff you wouldn't normally consider!
Note to self: plan better next semester, put better listening in console!

I would venture to guess there are several reasons for it being slow - one is that there seems to be a LOT of off-forums corresponding going on. That's okay - that's how relationships are built. The other is that we're all at work and actually have to work today! LOL It's not you, trust me.

AHhhhhhhhh! I am bored! I missed work (and, more importantly, you guys) yesterday because I was feeling a little ill. I thought I might actually have something to do today, but alas, nothing. I sit here looking at the security monitor and waiting for the phone to ring.......

Hey Jeannie! I keep forgetting to tell you that I love your siggy! Sounds like something I would have posted around my desk somewhere. Although...my desk is kinda messy so finding anything at this point would be a miracle. *grin*
