Yesterday was highly emotional and drained me. I've had lots on my mind lately too. So with all that said. I was fighting to sleep but couldn't. Tonight I may take something and pass out.

*sigh*

I hate sneezing. I hate not being able to smell...or talk right.

Although there was an advantage. Someone came in the hallway and did a "drop and run" smell and I didn't notice it until everyone started panicking over it. Still missed the odor though.

Newick's was in SOUTH Portland anyways, so that shouldn't affect your opinion of Portland! It just means you have to drive to NH if you still want to go to Newick's. There's one not far over the border. What were you doing way up here, John?

There's still one nearby!? How far from Portland is it? (I'd make the drive if it's reasonable)

I was visiting Bath Iron Works. That was back when they had the yard in Portland. Of course there's no where to stay in Bath anyway so even now we stay in Portland.

One thing I did like about Portland was the downtown (waterfront) area. I like cobblestone and there were tons and tons of very attractive women. Of course I couldn't tell if any were Christian or conservative but the few I talked to seemed nice at least.

(And for the interested observer, I was not picking up women. The first time I was there I was married and teh second time I was actually looking for a Karoake bar that was supposed to be there.)

The closest Newick's is in Dover, NH. It is about a one hour drive from Portland. Downtown is a nice area. But tell me, where are these attractive women you met. I need to know. (Although there is a good chance they are not Christians as this is one of the least Christian states in the U.S.)

It got quiet again! HERE'S the video I took just a little bit ago. I have a glass-top desk, and he comes up from underneath to play.

He's such a cutie Michelle. And he reminds me so much of my Buckwheat. I sure do miss him still.

Oh...and I loved hearing Keith Green in the background of that one. I love Keith Green. His music always reminds me of the time when I accepted Christ into my life. Very refreshing!

Now does one see a Chriropractor for muscle strain? I am sure I will be fine. It was just lifting that ultra-heavy paper that was the culprit this time.

One certainly can, and probably should. Muscles pull on bones, you know, and once those are out of alignment...you got problems.

At any rate, make sure you keep ice on the strain to reduce the inflammation.

I'll be praying you'll recover soon.

I have been using a heating pad. My back is so-so, however I do think that I will most likely be back in work come tomorrow though.

For some problems they say to alternate heat and ice.

Thanks Sunluvingirl for the suggestion, however the dr's office told me to just use heat instead.

Ok. I'm sure it depends on the injury. Heat & ice I think was for a disc problem or something.

It was a beautiful spring day in Kansas today.

And it is three days until I leave on a mini-vacation.

I hope you have a great time. Will your sister go to the festival with you?

The Three Dog Night show was rained out Saturday.

It depends on my sisters work schedule and her husbands plans whether she will go to the events wtih me.

I will go to the Cajun Dinner and concert on Thursday. On Friday I will go to the Ice Cream social and to Botanica on Friday. Saturday I will do the Walkfest, and pick some events during the day and the concert at night.

This is a drive-by post... as I head to bed. Just got through auditioning the first round of people for the summer theater (we're doing Oliver, and I'm the vocal director). I've never done the vocal direction for a show before, but it looks like it will be fun.

Been stuffing my brain with French.

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hello to my good friends here at CW!

TTFN! Ta-Ta-for-now...
