My parent's don't like to share how much they make. A lot of people are like that.

I am ok. Tired today. Hopefully will sleep better tonight.

I guess I am just used to knowing what my parents make, what my brother makes and what my sister makes. They all know what Lorne makes. We are just snoopy that way. Actually it just seems normal to know what everyone in my family makes. We've always told eachother. We know what Lorne's brother makes, but his parents don't talk about stuff like that. I found that to be so odd at first, but I soon realized that not all people share that info.

How come you didn't sleep well last night?

Not sure why. I guess I kept waking up, that makes me more tired than just falling asleep and staying asleep.

Solo---can you guesstimate? I know when I filled out the FAFSA several years ago you could....but then you may be required to show proof of the information later. It might be worth a try....

Well, the first time he didn't want to give me the info because he was going to pay for it all... therefore, I wouldn't need the FAFSA.

Then he got into an argument with my mom and decides to go back on that, so now I have to fill out the form and try to get loans. He probably doesn't know where the info is or what it is. I don't know adjusted incomes and how much my mom's social security, etc. is. Sometimes the questions are just too pointed... about tax forms and exemptions, etc. I'm just like . I've always hated filling out the FAFSA.

Daughter of faith, I thought about that. I think I'm afraid to guess too high then get in some kind of trouble. Lol.

That's where I was blessed and could file as an independent because I had a dependent. Any missing gaps of information was MY fault. God will provide....

((Solo))- I'm sorry for that. DH got goofed over on financial aid for this summer b/c we weren't sure of my summer plans for so long.
((MrsTracy))- I'm glad you handled yourself well at the game, even if the other lady didn't.
((Roberta))
Nicole- you take such pretty pictures! I hope you find a chiro closer to home that you like!

Ugh...today must have been the day for things to go wrong or something. I was driving to one of my appointments when all of a sudden my car just coughed and died in the middle of the road. Fortunately I was just pulling into a subdivision, as opposed to being on a busy road. Also fortunately I was headed to see a family that I really like and the mom helped me out when I called her. At first I thought the car had run out of gas, even though it said I had 1/4 tank. Then we had to call AAA and have it towed. I waited in their house since it was 108*F today. Turns out it was the alternator and belt, so they fixed those. Miracle of miracles we had just enough "extra" money to pay for it b/c DH just sold some of his old computer parts to one of his friends online. The car is fixed, and I should be able to go pick it up tomorrow.
I love that God provides, but I'm really not sure how much more of this I can take!

Stacy- how true that is. We have the faith that God will provide and take care of us, but we still wonder how much more we can take. What we think we can handle and what is seems like God thinks we can handle are two different things. It is in those points that we find the truth in Paul's statement "when I am weak, then I am strong". I realize that you were mainly talking about things like cars breaking down, but God cares about everything in our lives- including cars...

My cousin just e-mailed me and said that she was talking with one of her friends at my new school. They may know something about my house by the end of the week!!!!!!!!!!!! I am really glad that my cousin has a good relationship with the staff at my new school because she is going to be able to help take care of some of these little details that my family and I are just too far away to do. If I get pics, I will show them to you.

Okay, I need to see if I can get back to sleep for a couple more house. I fell asleep before 10, but of course that means I wake up in the middle of the night. One more month in this bed... one more month in this bed...

Well, in the last week, I've averaged about 3 hours of sleep a night. I didn't fall asleep until almost 6 am and was awakened at 6:45 am. I need some prayers for some serious sleep today.

I made all A's this semester. I'm not that happy since all this other stuff has been going on... but I imagine if things get better I might find some joy in it.

ETA: There's a woman on the Tyra Banks' Show that eats baby powder... like 6 containers a week (to lose weight).

Thanks Stacy! I should be able to find a chiro closer to home. Man, your car sounds like my last car. I stalled at one of the busiest turning lanes in the city. People were so mean to me. It was terrible. And then I stalled while going through an intersection in the middle of the night in a scary neighbhourhood. That was not fun at all. A couple months after getting married I junked that car for parts... I hope your car behaves this time. You need it for your job so it had better smarten up!

((((((((Tamara))))))))) I am glad that you got all A's! That is super awesome! And ew to the weird baby powder eating lady.

Jennifer, ohhh yeah that stinks that it wrecked your tire like that. I would have felt annoyed.

Beth, you have one awesome cousin doing all that for you! I'm excited for you!

So, I'm feeling a lot better today. I can move my shoulder! Hallelujah! Both shoulders and my neck are still stiff, but I can deal with that and work with that. All I have to do is stretch them and do things during the day to loosen those muscles.

I called my mom and invited them to stay with us. They are coming tomorrow! Have I ever told you ladies that I get over things quickly? Yeah, I was annoyed, but got over that and since I feel a bit better I decided I miss them and want them to stay! It's a good thing I get over things quickly hey? The worst thing in my opinion is to stay mad/hurt overf things. Especially when those feelings are over family stuff. That just makes life not fun. My mom told me to not worry about making meals or anything just in case I don't feel well enough.

((((Beth))))

Here I am complaining and you're getting ready to make a major life change!

Thanks for the encouragement!

Roberta, don't forget, you are making some pretty huge changes yourself. Don't ever feel like you are complaining. You are all good ok?

Today I visited a friend who owns a cat. Now I know not to touch cats because if I touch them and then touch my face I blow up like a puffer fish. Needless to say, I did and I came home, took a shower, changed clothes, put eyedrops in my eyes AFTER I washed my hands and face like 5 times and half my face is still swollen. I hate allergies.

Beth! Can't wait til you are back in the states!

Hi to everybody else.

Nicole- one of the things I love about you is how quickly you get over things! Yay for your mom coming, AND for your shoulder being better.

I picked my car up today and all seems to be well with it. It was HOT again- I think summer is officially here. DH also seems to have developed the cough that I've mostly (but not totally) kicked. Respiratory-related things seem to hit him worse than me, so pray he gets better quickly.

Tamara...I hate to hear about the Financial Aid headaches. I was like daughter of faith in that since I married when I was 16 I was considered independant and didn't have to have my parents information to file for grants and things. I hate the way all that stuff is structured...it penalizes young people who are self supporting unless they are married or have children.

Well... I'm convinced... there is no experiment I can come up with for astrocyte ion channels' and transporters' action due to gp120 and cytokines that work on hiv-associated cognitive/motor complex.

My intention was just to do something and observe... my home university wants a traditional experiment (hypothesis, etc)... I was just going to do stuff and record the data. The entire point for that anyway was to try to find a mechanism of action... if I don't find it then I'm not going to "prove" my hypothesis anyway.

No bueno. I'm going to bed.

Would you say a prayer for my dog Princess? I am taking her to the vet tomorrow (Wed) morning. Pray the vet can figure out what is wrong with her. She has been having problems with her stomach and having accidents in the house.

Stacy- Are you sure you're in Arizona? Sounds like you're having Kuwaiti temps. The highs the next day or so around 104-105 then it jumps up Friday and Saturday to around 110-111. I'm already dreading getting in my car after church Friday morning and it's still 2 days away. LOL When the heat really starts getting cranked up though, I'll feel my eyes start to shrivel as soon as walk outside. Now THAT'S HOT!

It's already hot enough to not turn on the water heater for our showers. We just turn the faucet to cold.

Catherine- I prayed for Princess. I hope she feels better soon.

Beth- Mabruk on everything with your move. It's nice that you have a cousin who's so handy.

I'm so not in the mood to work today. I still need to finish marking the girls' rough drafts so I'm giving my TA the homework marking to do. She'll LOVE that. LOL Apparently she's getting sluggish again so I need to keep her hopping. Only a few weeks left to go though.

I finally figured out there's chat on Facebook and so I can chat at school, right? No one's on now! Well, I'll try again later.

Have a nice day, ladies.

beth- to rough drafts - I have several that I have to do this weekend as well. I also hear you on TAs that can't seem to do their work correctly. I am about ready to tell mine not to come anymore except he gets a grade for what he does so I still have to have him come. I have lots that I wish he could do, but because he won't do it correctly, I might as well just do it myself.

I so wish that today was Thursday already so I could crawl back under the covers and go back to sleep. Instead I need to get up and get ready for the day. Thankfully tomorrow is a holiday so that I can sleep in. Okay, I am going to get up so I am not late for school.

Pray for me! I'm going to meet with my mentor and I'm a bit afraid because I don't have everything figured out. People tell me since I'm an undergrad and have never been in his lab, he'll know I'm not prepared... whatever the case, I'm nervous.

TTYL all.

Blessings.
