Well, we pegged last night's vote off pretty well. I'm just waiting to see what Jessica does once she doesn't have Will with her. I think we'll see him really come out with a new partner... at least I hope so. He is a BRILLIANT dancer.

Really not surprised about last night's results, considering Mary said she would fight for Will and Jessica, and Nigel said that Twitch and Kherington deserve to be back next week before they even danced their solos.

Comfort realized it was her time. She is a great dancer and has been amazing, but eventually you need to get the technique right and she was missing that. I'm sure they would have liked to get rid of Jessica, but then didn't want to pair Will with Comfort because of the technique issues.

DH says there's no point in making the girls dance next week. We all know that it's going to be Jessica that leaves...

... Now the guys are starting to get difficult. I'm guessing it will be Joshua or Gev. They're awesome but technique is not as good as the others.

Yeah - from here on out it gets even more difficult to see who stays and who goes.

IMO, Twitch's solo was really great.

I agree Twitch solo was awesome. I wish the dance was longer though. I agree Will is a great dancer but I don't think he will be any better if he dance with another girl. He will be great like the 3 male dance troupe last night. Jessica is just not graceful enough for me. Regarding with the technique, if I remember it right, Benji was criticized also for the technique and yet he won.
Katee and Joshua's bollywood was just fun to watch. I kept watching it over and over again in youtube.

And yet, Comfort was the one blamed for no connection. I liked Comfort. I can't blame her one bit for not connecting with Thayne. I believe she kept ending up in the bottom because of her partners.

Did anyone else notice Cat Deely snub Comfort? "We'll say farewell to Thayne... oh, and of course, Comfort..." Hugs, hugs, hugs for Thayne. Turns back on Comfort and never looks at her again.

'was watching House tonight and Fox made an announcement that apparantly Jessica was injured and out of the show. They're bringing Comfort back this Wednesday.

I checked out the Fox website. Nothing "official" on the dance page, but their forums are burning up about. Several people there were taking Fox to task for using her injury/illness to promo the show. Maybe I'm just cynical, but I figure if it's not life-threatening, big deal. I imagine that she signed HUGE disclaimers, etc allowing them to do stuff like this.

From what I read before- the Wed. shows are taped on Mondays (Thursday is a Live show) so I'm going to assume that Jessica was injured during taping tonight. The show, I believe, is taped in the afternoon (pacific time)- the announcement came out during House tonight (after 9 eastern time). I hope she's okay though.

I wonder then how they are going to get Comfort in. That would give her VERY little time to learn the choreography for the competition. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out on Wednesday's show.

I am sending up prayers for Jessica. How devastating it must be as a dancer to suffer and injury like this.

Supposedly Jessica was to do a hip hop dance routine. I'm sure Comfort will not have a hard time with the dance.

Now I'm GLAD Comfort's back. That should kick some major booty!

DH thinks Comfort's going to end up being the first person voted off a reality show two weeks in a row. I'm curious to see if he's right.

I actually like Comfort more than Jessica but I'm not sure if she'll be hanging still after this week, unless sympathy votes? We shall see.

I realize I'm late in getting in on this discussion, but I just started watching this show two weeks ago. It's amazing!

My favorite guys are Will and Twitch, although Joshua is no slouch either. As for the girls, I really don't have a favorite yet, we'll see after tonight.

Loved the Bollywood routine last week. Would really like to see more ethnic dance.

I've been reading some blogs on people who were in the studio. Jessica has fractured ribs. She was dropped during a dance routine. The conflicting report though - some says she will be going with the tour and some said that she's not. Personally, I think it'll be unfair if they don't allow her on the tour if she's able to recuperate. I know she does not get love from the judges but they chose her to stay instead of Comfort.

What happens if Comfort wins (unlikely but possible) but is not in on the tour????

I really loved Twitch (sans Kherrington) and only last night realized how much he carried her. I also loved both routines by Katee and Will. They will probably be among the finalists.

Wow! Will just came to life tonight, didn't he? I think Katee and Will will be the final two.

I'm thinking that Mark and Comfort or Kherington are going home tonight. I haven't been too impressed with Kherington the last couple of weeks... you're right, Twitch has definitely been carrying her.

I got to thinking about this last night. You think they already suspected that Jessica wasn't going to be able to stay in the competition and Comfort would be coming back? Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't believe that much is real in these reality shows. I wonder if they didn't go ahead and vote Comfort off in order to ramp up the drama this week. Just look at how the internet's been fired up since they aired that commercial the other night!

Comfort and Twitch were amazing in that Hip Hop routine! It was the only one other than Will and Katee's routines that I really got excited about.

Sorry to double post! My memory is a little fuzzy on last season, but didn't Houk or his partner (can't remember her name!) just miss being in the top ten, but was on the tour because the hummingbird routine was sooooo popular? Maybe Comfort will get to be a "special" on the tour?

I think definitely Katee will be on the final 2- the guys, the viewers are voting and Twitch has always had a lot of fan base.
I thought Gev was just missing Courtney last night [:D]
Regarding to some of the dance routines- I thought sometimes it's the choreography that's messed up. Some choreographers are just awesome and they try to adapt the dancer's personalities with the routines. Like the country 2 step dance-- I think any of them would have had problems with that dance. There was just no excitement in the routine at all and the music was a blah so I think it was the choreography that was all wrong. No wonder some of the choreographers, you only see them once in the show and they're not invited back again.

From Wikipedia in regards with the tour--

"On the season finale, Hokuto "Hok" Konishi, Shauna Noland, Anya Garnis, and Jesús Solorio were named as alternate performers in the event of injury to any of the top 10."

I thought that would make sense.

What was all wrong with that routine was Mark not pulling off a "cowboy" image. There was nothing masculine about his performance in that dance.

I thought Gev was excellent in both dances. It is getting painfully obvious that the judges, especially Nigel, tailor their critique based on who they think should be eliminated. Of the five guys the judges obviously want Will, Twitch and Joshua to stay. That leaves either Mark or Gev to throw under the bus. From the judges' comments it would appear that it's Gev they want voted off this week. They made such subjective criticisms of Gev's performances and never once mentioned the incredible lift he did with a partner who is as big as he is.

I must say that the imagery of the last lift/position in Will and Katee's second dance was striking.
