Leslie_JnJs_mom -> Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (4/29/2008 8:18:37 PM)

All these years I have heard him say that far left senators are too scared to face him so I was shocked to hear him say that Wed and Thurs. she will be on the O Reilly Factor.[sm=eek.gif] I hope he asks her some tough questions and not let her wiggle out of them.
I wonder if BO is next??

Nah. In case you haven't noticed, the once hated Hillary Clinton is now the darling of the right. Bill Clinton was actually on the Rush Limbaugh show recently. Sean Hannity is her best campaigner, torching Obama non-stop. I guess a common enemy as despised as Obama brings about the most unlikely alliances.

Even he isn't dumb enough to go on one of those right wing shows now. They'd barbeque him.

Oh, I had not noticed. I was thinking she was still hated. That shows you how much I actually pay attention huh.

Leslie_JnJs_mom -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (4/29/2008 9:37:41 PM)

I somehow got a double post or something like that.

freakofnature -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (4/30/2008 11:45:06 AM)

If O'Really (O'reilly) wishes to get further interviews with top officials, he will go realitively easy on her. I don't and wouldn't anticipate too many hard questions. He said this morning on Fox News morning show, he has 15 questions, 5 will be domestic policy, 5 will be foreign policy, 5 will be campaign related. He says he will expand based on her answers but I don't anticipate to many hard nosed questions.

Leslie_JnJs_mom -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (4/30/2008 2:52:38 PM)

Well that is too bad! I was looking foward to seeing him not let her evade certian topics. I will watch it anyways just in case he does not let me down.

Leslie_JnJs_mom -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (4/30/2008 10:03:42 PM)

Well when he did let her slide he said it was because he wanted to move on instead of arguing over one thing the entire time.

Bill on Rush? What is the world coming to? Once she gets the nomination. they will turn on her. Or will they, they seem to despise MCcain also.

lightshineon -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (5/1/2008 9:44:40 AM)

I think Hillary gave an appropriate response to the question, in all fairness. I do not understand why anyone would listen or even be on Rush. He makes conservative voters seen cold, mean, and uncaring. This is not the way, I am or many other conservative votes. I really do not know this Bill O'Riley, is he the same sort of man?

freakofnature -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (5/1/2008 9:51:57 AM)

I will reserve final judgement for this evenings tougher issues regarding Foreign Policy. That is where I am more concerned in the first place. Otherwise, the first half of interview went pretty well as I had expected. He should have challenged her more on "where the $$$ is coming from" and the stupid questions about Mr. (rev) Wright, what does he expect her to say, give me a break, did he anticipate her saying she agrees with Mr. Wright? Hillary is not an idiot (sort of)

P.S. Light, Bill O'Reilly is the top rated cable news show at this point. He claims to be "independent" and "hard nosed" the "NO SPIN ZONE" in other words he tries to dig deeper with people and not let them give softball answers and dodge questions. Sometimes it works, some times it doesn't. I watch his show pretty well nightly if not at least three times a week. Sometimes I have to change the channel because he gets very obnoxious with some guests. I am suprised he can book people for his show because they know he is going to be difficult and talk over them alot.

EDIT- As far as Rush is concerned, I am sorry you feel the way you do about him but to be honest, I think maybe (IMHO) you may not have heard his show in entirety or you have listened to others oppinions on his show. He is actually a pretty good resource for getting details and actual facts that you may not get from Mainstream Media, yes with a conservative bent to it but at least you get the otherside of the story.

BO apparently was on Fox with Chris Wallace earlier this week, Sunday maybe.

Hi, thanks for the information about Bill O'Riley. I admit not listening to Rush in a long while, it did seem harsh, a long time ago maybe he has changed since then.

After the interview between Oreilly and Hillary, Obama comes off looking like a wimp. He is so afraid of being challenged.

I don't like Hil but I have to admit she did a good job.

Leslie_JnJs_mom -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (5/7/2008 11:53:33 AM)

Too bad she has proven herself to be a person who will say anything just to get elected. Otherwise she might have gotten a whole lot more votes.

buckifn -> RE: Hilary Clinton doing an interview with Bill O Reilly (5/10/2008 6:52:46 AM)

I think some of us are sick of both of them and have just tuned out...period.

Isn't that what politics is all about though? Telling people what they want to hear? I mean, what if every politician told everybody the truth? True, some folks would really appreciate that, but others, most, will no doubt get offended and vote for the other guy who tickles their ears with empty promises and feel good slogans. Problem is, that stuff works. Always has, always will. That, in my opinion, is what's wrong with the churches today, few people want to hear the truth and there are so many churches available where people's ears will be tickled pink and they'll come out feeling soooo good about themselves no matter how wicked their lifestyles are. But I digress, that's another subject.

Julius, you are so right on politics, and so is leslie. All of them make me want a vomit bag. They make promises they cannot keep, there are checks and balances, and presidents do not have absolute power. McCain, seems to be honest, in a wooden-eyed look way, kind of like he does no know any better (lol). I would not go to a church with an itching ears pastors, or a condeming pastor either. Is there any balance left in this world? Hillary Leslie will do anything, act anyway, just to win. Obama reminds me of a fruit smoothie, he says nothing except the echolaic words hope, change, hope, change. " Yes we can!" " Yes we can!" I (hope) he will (change )his message, can we do it? (Yes we can)"![;)]
