Well call me stupid but I have never been to Az and though I know they have many flora we do not.......I assumed they had some of the same trees we do.

Agreed. This was the pine tree area, but there were a lot of Alpine forests nearby. THOSE are some pretty trees.
And I did go camping in that area. (Pine trees). It was the most heavenly scent...too bad we didn't have any sleeping bags, as it was FREEZING. (We were on a road trip)
But back to this cheesecake business...

Yeah but it would be mighty difficult to take cheesecake while camping. Unless there was an ice cooler, and it was eaten quickly.....

I am trying to find the ultimate camping horror story that besideherself posted a few days ago. It had to do with camping with fireants and near a nuclear reactor.
