You ever have one of those days that your go around singing, Our God is an awesome God. He reigns from heaven above…. And you believe it and you feel blessed and all is well with your world. Well today was not one of those days. Instead of a song that praises the attributes of God I put on Rich Mullen’s song. You know the one that talks about how God is up there playing hard to get. It’s a great Christian song for when you are having a temper tantrum. It says exactly what you feel. And I am sitting here all feeling sorry for myself and grumbling and complaining and then something happened (no, I wasn’t struck by lightning, though I deserved it)……What happened is…God blessed me…He sent a blessing. Now I don’t know about you but if my child is on the floor having a temper tantrum the last thing I am going to do, is hand them an ice cream cone. KWIM And yet, He did. He totally gets me....I love that about Him.

He loses serious cool points. in fact think he lost a guy card Oops, now did he lose a bet or did some girl convince him to be a maid of honor? Well I guess it wouldn't be so bad if he wears a tux instead.

That's awesome Armydude! My son and I were able to take a tour of an aircraft carrier stationed in San Diego a number of years ago ... just amazing! And very impressive!

Hi guys! you all sure have been busy on here, while I was busy um...elsewhere. The last twenty-four hour have been crazy. I did that overextending thing again. O'well I'll recover. Just a few minutes in such a beautiful place and surrounded by friend should do the trick.
