Should I tithe while I am still in debt? After all of my bills are paid, I have enough money to give God his 10%, but that does not include paying down any debt. We have about $50 in disposable income left at the end of each week, after tithing.
If I continue to tithe, I am only paying interest on my credit card ($2,200) and my student loan ($24,000). Does God want me to pay my debts before I give back to Him?

God requires 10% of your firstfruits. When your pay comes in, the FIRST thing that gets paid out IS your tithe! It gets set aside before you pay rent, or utilities, or purchase groceries or put gas in your car, or ANYTHING...

Tithe FIRST, and he'll make sure what's left will suffice!

I'm pretty sure this thread will be closed, so you should try to look through the sticky thread on tithing. I just made sure you had the short and sweet answer before you get referred to that one...
