Is it faith related and do you consider yourself a Bible believing Christian?

Take care.

Yeah it says, "Angel" on my ring finger. It was actually the nickname for my EX girlfriend but that's what I refer to it as now. Kind of like having a guardian Angel watching over me, and yes I'm a Bible believing Christian.

I voted for my hubby he isn't a member but he is a bible believing christian. He has several tatoos and is in the process of saving money for one of a series of words (peace, love, passion, forgiveness, believe, and faith) to be tatooed onto his arm.

I have always wanted a rose with Isaiah 35:1 (rejoice and blossom as the rose) under it.

Have you checked out a local parlor for the ink possibilities?

Hey folks, my girlfriend and I are Christians, and we use our tattoos as a medium for witnessing. If you click on my profile, you'll see a link to our blog. You won't see our tats YET, but, we're working on putting up some pictures soon. We call ourselves the INKED UP JESUS FREAKS.

God bless

No because I am not sure where I would want it placed.

You are blessed your ex wasn't named something not found in the Bible. It's one reason I never considered a tattoo, even though I spent over 9 years in the Navy (where tats have long been common and accepted). I always thought that when I changed my mind or when circumstances changed, it'd be a lot of trouble to deal with an unwanted tat.

My favorite uncle had a prominent tattoo on his arm and my SIL has quite a few (and he's career Air Force with about 20 years in).

But to be honest, I had never considered intentionally have a faith inspired tattoo.

Well for ladies the placement is often ankle, shoulder, or upper arm, or (if feeling just a little more confident, lower back, but it's often the 18 year olds do that).

[For us guys, it's often chest or arm.]

Take care.

Yeah no kidding! Haha. Personally I don't see anything wrong with a "God" related tattoo.

...... oooo!! meeeee! pick me!!!

Hi, my name is R8chel, and I love Jesus like crazy.

I have a faith-related tattoo...

It looks something like this:

ἀγαπητός

It has a wonderful story behind it... I use it as an ice-breaker in prison ministry sometimes...

Mostly, it's my own personal reminder of how much (which is basically inconceivable) God loves me.

My next tat will be a matching one with my *hubby.... I'm thinkin' handcuffs.... one for each of us!

* when I'm blessed with one!

I wouldn't mind a few tasteful tattoos someday. I think having Jesus' name in Japanese characters would be awesome.

Well, you're over 18 now and an adult. As you know, 18 is when a lot of ppl go the parlor, (as a sort of rite of passage, I guess) but you need to be sure about your faith related reasons, right?

Take care.

Exactly why I'm waiting. I'm impulsive, but not stupid.

Well... that and I do need my parents' help paying for college if you know what I mean.

So does that mean that your mom doesn't have a tat herself?

Take care.

My Dad (who is a licensed Minister) has 2 tattoos. One of them is a huge Cross on his right arm, and the other he got before the Cross, he got the word "Passion" in Hebrew on his arm.

Does your mom have one as well, or is she maybe considering one?
